A homeless veteran came one Sunday, and sang the most tear jerking version Amazing Grace, while playing on the piano in the church. Not a dry eye in the building. Even the local gangs agreed to let him be, and well, they didnt give ANYONE a break. 2 years after i graduated, i spotted another homeless vet, stopped over at the ATM, and took out a hundred bucks. (my whole fam is military so im pretty sensitive to the issues involved) I gave him the money. A week later, i ran into him again. He used the money to buy some decent clothes, get a hair cut, and put money down with another vet for an apartment, and got a job stocking shelves at Walmart. It recently became the third proudest moment of my life. The First and Second being the days my children were born.

This is a true story my husband is a very humble man and didn't tell this to me the man he helped did. I was at work my husband is a disabled veteran so he was running errands before the kids were back from school. He went to Dunkin' Donuts for some coffee. He started to talk to a guy another veteran but he just got home. He was on the verge of suicide my husband has been there done that and got the tee shirt so he took him seriously. Bought the guy coffee and an egg sandwich and talked for hours and then took him to the local VA clinic. The guy recognized me from a picture my husband showed him of the kids and me. He asked me did he know my husband saved a life close to home and then told me. There is one thing my husband didn't know at that time. That day, that man was actually heading to the bridge which is one street away from that Dunkin' Donuts he wasn't just talking he was on his way to do it. He went there to have his favorite coffee the last time. I don't care if you call it God, Angels, Fate, or The Universe. Someone had that man bump into my husband to help save him. Now that man is like a member of my family my husband and I call him brother and my kids call him Uncle. He now has a family and we have a great addition. I am calling him that man because I want to respect his privacy.

The reason it would “give you faith in humanity” is because it was a guy who was doing something wrong, but then he realised how what he was doing was wrong. It’s always touching when someone changes their ways for the better or just makes a good decision rather than a bad one. I thought it was good.

Yeah, he likes her for her personality rather than looks, which is great, but a guy that would even consider doing something so cruel is not a good person. It's the same principle as not dating anyone who's mean to the waiter no matter how sweet he/she is to you, because it shows who they really are inside.

Also the lady one touched me because in primary I used to be close to the cleaning lady and she was like my BFF and I used to tell her about my day and then a lot of the times she would bring me ting gifts and one day I thought she does so much for me let me so something for her and then I brought her LOADS OF CHOCOLATE AND flowers and a card and I did that for all the years I spent in primary and I gave her other things too like necklaces and then one day she did not come to school and I was sad and then the next week came round and then I seen her at home time and she told me that she got a job somewhere else and she was gonna leave and live in another place and she did.. and then she was away for 1 year and then I left primary because I needed to transfer to high school ( when she left I was sad obvi ) and when I transfered to high school I had to go pick up my Bro from primary and then I seen the same cleaning lady AFTER A YEAR and I went up to her and she remembered me!! and then I asked her what was she doing here and she goes ' I was living there for a long time - the kids are nice but I missed u' she also said she was treated better here and she missed her friends and family 😢☺☺ I'm in high school still but I see her a lot when I get my siblings from school ☺
