    28mph is just fine on a brushless motor. It was probably geared down to take the big wheels that's why its pretty slow with the smaller buggy wheels.

    As always, XLF and Xinlehong are more quality. I have 9125 and 12427. My 12427 esc died in just 4 days. Suspension and steering links are wobbly in 12427, hard to keep it straight. Ring gear to drive shaft gear mesh is too tight also. I had to leave a small gap to the upper differential case just to loosen the mesh. I've spent more than the car's cost just for the hobby grade electronics. My 9125 is more fun to drive even it is all stock. Very smooth gears and differential results to runs smooth and quiet.
    I must try this XLF F17. I'm a fan of XLF and Xinlehong 😁

  • @HyperReality4

    I think the problem with the speed is the radio. The radio should be able to adjust the throttle. It would make a massive speed difference as well as punch.

    I'd get this buggy any day over the wltoys. This has all the aluminum upgrades already so harder to break. I'd just run a small 100c 3s in to get an easy 40 mph.

    • @Vaterraman
      @Vaterraman 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Aluminum should really only be used where strength is needed, but to eliminate flex, increase accuracy, and lower tolerances. It can help where mode weight is needed. It shouldn't be used ever for impact or shock. The shock damage more parts, like hinge pins, knuckles and hubs and axles. It's tedious to work on too, constantly using loctite, which makes things take longer to do. Aluminum, rather than springing back to shape or snapping, bends, even slightly, tweaking something. And I guarantee the Aluminum parts are more expensive.

  • @oweckayx

    Hey, great videos, thank you for that :-)
    I have just one friendly sugestion. I really hate those slow motion shots you are throwing into videos. May you try some cellphone camera for slow motion footage? Mostly you can get like 120-240fps and sometimes even more from regular cellphone cameras. Or for example sony RX100 mark V shoot at 960fps at 720p that will be so much better :-)

    • @TomleyRC
      @TomleyRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Hero 9 does 120fps @ 2700k, 240fps @ 1080p. You get a better picture using 4k @ 60fps. What is it in particular you don't like? I'm interested to know.

    • @oweckayx
      @oweckayx 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TomleyRC At every video you put some good jump in slow motion but it is only slowed down 30/60fps and that looks imo horrible. If you will switch to 240fps and have some jumps separately in video, i believe it will increase quality of your videos. It is only minor complain and costructive critisism. Nothing personal and offensive :-)

    • @TomleyRC
      @TomleyRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@oweckayx I’m not offended Tomas it’s fine. But at 60fps I only slow down to 2 or 3 times speed, so it should not look bad. Lots of people slow down to much and you get a jerky slow mo. 120 or 240 looses quality unless you ha e very good light. I do sometimes use 120fps 👍

    • @oweckayx
      @oweckayx 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TomleyRC Maybe I am the only one who cares :-) This slowing of 60fps used to be normal like 6 yeary ago but today I thing is better to use higher rates. You will see how well it fits your style and if it is not too complicated to edit and stuff.
