Aw thank you so much! Hmm, it doesn't take me too long because I am fairly used to melodic passages. A good tip I think is to familiarise yourself with the chords first, and the melody tends to follow the chords. Also familiarise yourself with the key signature- the melodies in metal/pop/rock songs don't usually stray from the key signature. Then, you just have to mess around with the scale until you find the right melody, and put it together with the chords!
Do you have a "dumbed" down version of this? I'm still a beginner at piano and I tried following your chord sheet but I had a really hard time 😭 BUT ANYWAYS! I love this cover, it makes me so happy
