That's exactly what makes him the most sought after Bass man of all time. Apparently, he is everything, no matter where you look, he is there. Didn't even come here for him but bumped into him and I'm still here!
Any decent bass player will tell you that more often than not, LESS is MORE. If your groove and timing is good, and you stay tight in the pocket with the drummer…. Even the simplest bass lines will make that song kick ass!! LOVE NATE EAST!! 👍😎👍
As I watch this with an irremovable grin on my face I can only wonder which boring individual disliked this amazing video! Would have LOVED to have been in that crowd!

he is not wine he is musician not for drinking but for us is the best player for listening especially this kind of the music, not wine ,hij is vak man, dank ju wel ,helemaal goed
The guys were having so much. With such seasoned guys, no two nights are ever the same. Clearly, they are impressing each other despite the hours of practice
He makes music not chops. He makes the music sounds great which is the art of bass. I know this song.. who can remember a. Vic Wooten jam unless you’re into complex playing and likely a musician. I love Vic and although. He play effortlessly, Making music and chops are two different things
Although im a Mega Fan of the Dear Late Phil lynott Who gave birth to the mighty Thin Lizzy , But this Guy Nathan East i have hes the pleasure to whiteness with my eyes and ears ,. i think hes the most amazing Bassist on the planet . He played an amazing contribution within Live Aid , reading music as he played , when he can play that bass in his sleep
He has all the chops in the world to play even a super flashy solo, but instead he decided to skilfully do this kind of nice & sweet solo. This is the 'solo' (the attitude) many bass players (or any musicians) have to learn.. especially if you want to have big opportunity to get jobs for your work as a bassist/musician. Not flashy plays.
Bo to koncert w Łodzi, Fryderyku...
@@Chopin1995 Niestety, Simon wrócił do swojego Protocol - na bębenkach grał ostatnio studyjny wyżeracz z Nashville Shannon Forrest a wcześniej fusionowy Keith Carlock (m.in. ex Steely Dan).
The man plays with restraint, melodic precision, and most of all, a perfect solid groove.
And always smiling ! 😚

Such a simple and sweet bass solo. Nathan gets the concepts of simplicity and audience engagement.

Amazing talent...and he’s a humble sweetheart to boot.
The never ending talent of Nathan East.
The expert playing is when you know and can singing every single note that you hit at the same time.. mind blowing .. 🔥

He is from “Verdine White school”, earth solid deep groove, never over played.
Maybe that’s one reason he got tons and tons of gigs and get rich.
It's a very beautiful bass solo and crowd.
