We booked most everything through AirBNB in Italy, we felt that the tours provided through them were of higher quality than other booking sites.

Absolutely ! Thanks
Wow, what an incredible journey through Italy! Your itinerary covers all the must-see destinations and I love how you've condensed it into a manageable timeframe. Thanks for sharing your experience and tips, definitely adding these places to my bucket list! 🇮🇹✈
Thank you so much for watching! That's very kind of you to say! Cheers
Your opening words on the video are beautiful. Bella Italia x
That's very kind! Cheers!
complimenti per il filmato molto vario e interessante, ben realizzato. Spero che la vostra vacanza sia stata gradevole. ciao
Grazie mille, abbiamo adorato la nostra visita in Italia. Ciao
Would love to see the leaning tower of Pisa! How cool! Can’t believe it leans so much- cool about the stairs. Cinque Terre is so colorful and beautiful besides all the stairs haha. Can’t wait to make it there someday!

Thank you for watching! We loved our time at Pisa and the Cinque Terre. The Cinque Terre is SO colorful, I do hope you can make it there one day! Cheers!
You need to travel to south Italy as well!
We would love to do that someday! We've heard great things!
Absolutely amazing! Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video. I love that you guys talk like real people, not like TH-camrs. :) We're planning to take almost this exact same route in October, except we'll be there for 15 days and will do a daytrip from Florence to Sienna, Montepulciano and Montalcino, instead of Pisa and Lucca. Do you have recommendations for how long to stay in each city? I was thinking of 3 nights in Venice, 4 in Florence, 3 in Cinque Terre (maybe Manarola), and 5 in Rome (the last night is really just to fly out early the next day). We want to be able to see a lot of the big sites, but take our time and get a good taste of each city. Does that itinerary seem reasonable? And how did the Rick Steves audio guide tours work out for you?
Thank you Dean! We are excited to hear about your upcoming trip. It sounds like you have a great itinerary planned out. If I were to do one thing differently, it would be to try and spend a night in an 'agroturismo' (Italian Bed and Breakfast) somewhere in Tuscany. It's nice to get a break from the overtouristed Florence and Venice. Thanks for watching! Cheers!
And we loved the Rick Steves audio guide. Highly recommended.
@dreamtojourney Thanks for your feedback. I had originally planned on staying at an agriturismo as well, but decided to do an extra day in the Cinque Terre so we would have one less place to move to, could give ourselves more time to relax on the coast, and just daytrip into Tuscany. And then we don't have to deal with renting a car (which I've heard is actually pretty easy, but still).
The best museum in Rome is MUSEO NAZIONALE ROMANO. It is a museum for intelligent people!
Thanks for the tip! We will have to check it out next time we go!
@@dreamtojourneyfamily nel Museo Nazionale Romano (4 sedi: Palazzo Massimo, Palazzo Altemps, Cripta Balbi, Terme di Diocleziano) ci sono capolavori eccelsi. A Palazzo Altemps sono custodite statue celebrate dai grandi intellettuali europei (Winkelman, Lessing, Stendhal, Visconti, Goethe, ecc.ecc. ) , a Palazzo Massimo capolavori eccezionali ( discobolo Lancellotti, discobolo di Castel Porziano, LA FANCIULLA DI ANZIO, Augusto in veste di Pontefice Massimo ecc.ecc. )
Nessun museo al mondo possiede pitture così preziose come quelle provenienti dalla villa di Livia moglie dell'imperatore Augusto.

What do you do with your stroller when climbing the towers?
Our little one wasn't allowed to climb the tower, so one of us stayed down with the baby while the other climbed the tower.
Oh no! We got a carrier backpack just for this purpose 😢
@@hoanhpham3895 they MIGHT still let you IF your child do not get off the carrier.....
I thought it now costs 5 euros to enter the Pantheon.
Thanks for the clarification Stephanie! We visited last May before the entry fee was put into place, it does now cost 5 euros.
Total budget?
