5 HACKS TO SAVE MONEY ON A CRUISE - WHAT YOU MUST NEVER PAY FOR!

I love cruising - I think it's clear from my channel that I like nothing more than to cruise, whatever the size of the ship! And I also love a bargain and saving money. Cruising can be really inexpensive, but cruise lines are always looking at ways to make some money off of you. So this video offers my 5 top hacks for saving money and things I believe you should NEVER pay for on a cruise and that you should never be tempted to pay for. Those things include:
1. Never buying drinks packages
2. Exploring independently instead of doing ship excursions
3. Never paying to enter exclusive sunbathing areas
4. Never buying specialty teas or coffees
5. Doing my own laundry - it's really expensive on a ship so I just wash my smalls in the sink or use the self-service launderettes on the ship, if there IS one..

Jo they are good tips except the drinks package. I'm not a 'drinker' but just casual drinking while you are cruising on holiday can surprisingly mount up. On a 11 day transatalantic on NCL my wife and I had a drinks package. We had a few cocktails each day, wine at dinner and a few beers here and there without a second thought, which helps to make you feel good as you are not worried about a bill. So at less than $500 for the two of us, we found to our great surprise the bill managed to mount up over $2000 of alcohol beverages! So definately get a drinks package. I tell all my clients to do that.

Fair enough about wanting to just enjoy yourself and I'm sure others will feel the same. But I always have my eye on not overspending - I just can't HELP MYSELF LOL!! XXX
