Really learnt a lot about the period before the reformation. Imagine being a spectator in an event you do not understand, I can't imagine the depth of ignorance people must have been entombed. And Martin Luther, God bless his soul for the start of the movement only God had inspired and sustained till date- A mighty fortress is our God reverberates till now

Lot's of music history studies, books and on line material. Our Fine Arts Library at the University of Kentucky has been a big resource for me.

Martin Luther, later in life, became anti Semitic and what so far as to write a book called Jews and Their Lies - advocating really nasty things - even burning down synagogues. Playing his hymns etc could be a real stumbling block to a Jewish person accepting the gospel, to say the least.
