Unfortunately the area is closed from recent fires.😒. I took my Subaru Forester up there. Had to use my winch to get up there, and overheated my CVT. Might be time to upgrade. Lol

yes, it's still closed due to the fires. I've seen a few Subarus on that trail and the trail won haha

The Trail ends about 200yrs ahead. it gets really narrow and it stops. looks like a land slide

the trail is closed right now due to a fire in June

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Subaru make it to the end of the trail. It gets pretty rutted and rocky in parts. I’d recommend rock sliders and skid plates. Having said that, who knows how the trail will be after the fire.
