    I love seeing a fusion of traditional and modern construction techniques. Very cool indeed. Thanks, FM!

    Fascinating seeing these foreign traditional techniques. So many differences to western ones.
    In Germany up until the 60s, wood- or coal fired stoves for cooking and heating the room were common even in cities, with additional ovens in other rooms and often multiple chimneys.
    But today noone actually uses anything like this anymore.

      Korea's Goodle is an innovative technology that can save 50% of fuel consumption compared to traditional fireplaces. Additionally, spending just one day in Goodle allows you to receive beneficial energy such as far-infrared, making your body feel lighter and greatly relieving fatigue. In this way, Goodle seems to be an excellent choice for modern people who pursue energy savings and a healthy lifestyle. It is highly effective for protecting the environment and nature, as it barely uses fuel, promotes health, and reduces carbon dioxide emissions.
      Goodle can also be installed in campervans, allowing you to stay in beautiful places while maintaining your health near rivers, oceans, and forests with Korean Goodle. Furthermore, if you install Goodle and a traditional furnace together, you can use the heat from the furnace to grill meat for barbecues and cook various dishes.
      Goodle can be installed in existing homes and newly built houses. It can also be produced as a portable unit, allowing for installation anywhere with empty space. It fundamentally enables humidity removal even in regions with high external humidity.
      You can find out more about all the products by searching for '청우산업' on TH-cam.
      We provide Goodle units designed for 20-foot containers, featuring dimensions of 2900x2100x470mm. Each unit has a total weight of less than 2.5 tons. The current export price for this product is approximately 5,300 USD.

    Fascinating! So, I'm assuming the plastic tubing, presumably pex, is used as a conduit for hot air. If so, Wouldn't it be more efficient to use hot water to heat the thermal mass, as in modern hydronic systems? I must say that I and appreciate the simplicity of this system if I understand it correctly.

    • @ugh.2923
      @ugh.2923 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Probably yeah but this is a more traditional way of heating the floor, kinda like how you could use a fireplace to warm your house but just installing an HVAC or even a simple electric heater would be more eco-friendly and efficient.
      Typically most modern floor heating systems in South Korea use electric resistive heating which is faster and more efficient than hot air, steam, or hot water.

    • @user-ur5ik8qw8f
      @user-ur5ik8qw8f 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This is a reproduction of Korea’s traditional heating system(ondol). In the past, Korea’s heating system used to heat an entire house by burning a fire in the kitchen. This was the way that when you lit a pit called “agung-i,” smoke moved along the road under the floor and heated the whole house. As you mentioned, the hot water method is more efficient, so most homes in modern Korea adopt a hot water method. So, homes in Korea are not a way of treating air when heating, but a way of warming the floor.
