Have to say I totally loved everything about Death Rattle Dazzle last season! It was such a great send up of an Agatha Christie/An Inspector Calls type play.
In that aspect 100% yes! And I do love me some Agatha Christie and murder mystery plays. I remember growing up in Toronto they had Mouse Trap as a play at a small theatre down the road from me for YEARS and I went to see it as often as I could. It's so fun. I didn't look at the season that way, I was more focused on the trio podcasters getting back together to solve the death since that's been the focus in season 1 and 2, but looking at it from your perspective the play really was a fun Agatha Christie type feel 🥰 - Jess

@@MattandJessTV I totally understand lol. Steve and Martin are unbelievable together like peanut butter and jelly. I think Charles was the target but I’m not sure why.
They are so wonderful together, I would watch them read a phone book lol. I think Charles could have been the real target as well. There are certainly a few people out there that have issues with him like Jan. - Jess
Hopefully they will continue the seasons & in the ending of season 3 charles did say maybe they could dig up a cold case so Hopefully they will continue with more season 😭

I am so unbelievably excited for this to start! I loved the trailer, and can see this being a fantastic season.....BUT....Jess, you hit the nail on the head with my biggest hope/worry about this season: PLEASSSSSSE let this season be about the murder (and not all about the movie)!! I am truly hoping that we start with the movie but move back to the Arconia with the focus being our trio spending lots of time together solving this and doing the podcast 🙏🙏 So excited y'all will be doing 3 videos a week on this, too!

I'm just excited for the show! It's never really been about being correct for me (especially since I don't even really have much of a theory yet lol); I just really like having a good time with the show. -Matt
I'm going out on a limb and predict Eugene Levy's character being the murderer. I'm wondering if Levy's character (who is playing Charles in the OMITB Movie) knows Charles from the past, perhaps he lost the Brazzo part to him due to some backstage politicking from Charles and never forgave him for it. Like Ben Glenroy, its possible Charles doesn't remember Levy's character or wasn't aware that he was in the running for the part. Sorry Jess and Matt for the "content" theory.
We love an early killer theory!!! Eugene Levy is a really good guess and the rivalry/jealousy angle is a great motive and I feel whether it's Sazz or Charles as the target, it felt like this killing was personal so jealousy as a motive has been high on my list too. Also if eugene levy is playing charles and charles is dead it usually ends up skyrocketing the product whether is a movie, book, painting what-have-you. - Jess
Excellent point. It would definitely elevate his status as an actor as well.
Sazz said last season that there was weird chatter about Charles. It makes sense Charles was the real target. He may still be the target in this new season.

Idk why Hulu takes a long time to release a trailer for a show that is coming out in a couple weeks but then again a lot of streaming services have been doing that wait like a week or 2 before the new season comes out

Cliff intentionally kept pushing Paul's character towards that open elevator shaft. In my mind it was on purpose.
For us, seeing cliffs reaction to Ben falling, we felt it was an accident. - Jess

So, I just watched the trailer and Eva Longoria is going to be Mable? Don’t get me wrong, I love Eva however isn’t she a bit older to play this part? I’m wondering who else could play Mable? Well, I am just excited for the next season.
From what I read I think that's going to be incorporated as part of a joke, same as Zach playing Oliver who is like 25 years younger than Oliver. I thought that too when I saw that Mabel was being played by someone 20 years older than Selena lol. - Jess

So no Robert Tobert ? Mable's love interest never sticks around. Sazz was trying to tell Charles something for a bit and could someone been trying to kill him? He was locked in the closet and I think something else ... But I do hope we already know the killer.

The first season was good the second season was okay the third season was why is Charles dating a convicted killer and now the four Season I think they're running out of ideas it's going to rain and predictable and yes I'll be skipping this season so goodbye MITB
