Hell, if I'm honest, I'd probably do that still 😂 no but in all seriousness the way you're teaching him will only help him later in life, especially if he decides to be a collector himself. He won't buy every single thing impulsively but instead will take the time to truly decide if he wants it/it's a good time to buy.

It is hard to remember sometimes when a character has many different similar pops like Jack Skelington etc I do compare every collection I get to the ones I have already because I find variants in the box, the paint, the vinyl used etc. Its fun to find different versions of the same figure to me. I need to do a video on the variants I have.

As a father myself, I really appreciate your bond with your son. My daughter has shared my love for Transformers and video games with me. I also have the classic Simpsons arcade game downloaded on my PS3 and we'd play that as Homer & Lisa. It's a really cool feeling to have played that as a kid, and here I am with my kid playing the same game years later as father & daughter. Well here's my 1 like of the cool kid's requested 2,000. Lol!
It really is wonderful sharing the things you loved when you were a kid with your own kids. Its really a wonderful bonding experience. I also find myself enjoying things he is into because it is just so much for seeing his excitement for different movies and cartoons etc.

I'm a fairly new collector and I've started with pretty basic sets. I am working on collecting all of the basic DBZ characters, and I'm wondering where good places are online to buy/trade for some of the rarer ones (I'm hunting non-metallic Beerus right now). If anyone has intel, I'd appreciate it! I enjoy your videos, it's great to see how many pops are out there.
DBZ is one of the hottest series to collect so it is kinda hard to find them for a good deal. He sometimes sells in the $60 range on ebay, what I would do is bid on all the ones that are cheaper and be patient and try to get one in the $60-$65 range if you can.
Do a lot of research online and see people who post real vs fake pictures. Its hard to say all the things to look out for. For Beerus I know the fake one I have seen the fox looks more like a picture of the pop then the drawing on the real one. You can check the feet for proper marking, the date sticker or stamp on the bottom of the box and just how the pop and box look to catch the fake. DBZ expensive pops always make me a bit uncomfertable but if you do a lot of research you will be more comfortable with it. Maybe start with the cheaper ones and get a feel for the pops first then work your way into the more expensive ones.

I will try to visit your store in the future. You must get a lot of in store customers most people tend to shop online. You can sell your pops a lot quicker online which would enable you to buy more collections
I sell a good amount in the shop that is why I do not sell so much online, selling online takes a ton more work to process so for instance to sell a pop online it takes 5 to 10 minutes of work to get it listed then 5-10 minutes to package it up so the most I can sell an hour is 3-6 an hour or very few sold for the amount of work it takes. On top of that most sites you can sell on cost a ton of money and because shipping is high people want to pay less so a ton of pops that would list for $8-$10 I only get $6-$8 after fees etc. Pricing for my shop takes about 20 seconds and when someone wants to buy it they do the work of finding the item and bring it to the check out counter to pay for which really is not additional labor then what is already being spend watching the shop etc. So yes once an item is listed online it might sell faster but it takes a lot longer to make everything for sale and it sells for less money after all the costs. I just do not have the time for that any more.

Yes I have been sorting and preparing for a series of collection tour videos but it keeps getting pushed back because of mega hauls lol Very soon I will start the collection tour series.
No need to feel bad he has more toys then can fit in our house and he gets more every week. So as much as he would love to own $1000s of new toys weekly, he is happy with having a few new toys to play with every week.
Have almost 80 pops and because of Funko I'm looking to sell my collection. I live in Canada and I've been trying to collect a series that's only available through the Funko shop and it's not available in Canada unless I pay ridiculous prices on eBay. So this is the end of Funko for me
Honestly that makes sense to me, its getting really hard to get some of the limited exclusives they are putting out and that is very frustrating. Even in the US I would say I miss out on 9 out of 10 Funko Shop releases because they sell out so fast.
The Funko shop is the original retail source for them so they are not available anywhere else for retail. I do like the line they are super cute. I wonder if there is a service that lets you forward packages to Canada so you can order them from the retail site.

No need to feel bad he has more toys then can fit in our house and he gets more every week. So as much as he would love to own $1000s of new toys weekly, he is happy with having a few new toys to play with every week.

I let him earn them occasionally by doing well at school and doing choirs around the house. He probably owns 50-100 himself.

Have almost 80 pops and because of Funko I'm looking to sell my collection. I live in Canada and I've been trying to collect a series that's only available through the Funko shop and it's not available in Canada unless I pay ridiculous prices on eBay. So this is the end of Funko for me
Honestly that makes sense to me, its getting really hard to get some of the limited exclusives they are putting out and that is very frustrating. Even in the US I would say I miss out on 9 out of 10 Funko Shop releases because they sell out so fast.
@@popfuntoplay it wasn't even exclusives I was looking for. It was the Wetmore Forest and the only place I've seen them besides the Funko shop is ebay
The Funko shop is the original retail source for them so they are not available anywhere else for retail. I do like the line they are super cute. I wonder if there is a service that lets you forward packages to Canada so you can order them from the retail site.
