Love your channel! It inspires me to get back into collecting Pops! I started collecting specifically GOT pops in 2015 and then stopped, but think I will continue collecting! I mainly collected the characters I liked and actually put them in my work cubicle... can’t believe most of them are worth so much more than I bought them for!!
Some of those 2015 GOT pops are rare and expensive now. I am shocked my bloody Brienne is over $300 now. I remember buying her new for $10 lol. Welcome back to the hobby.

Hey Guys. Just want to say I really enjoyed these videos. I have been going to sci fi conventions since the late 70's when they weren't mainstream. Mostly trekkies. This Funko Pop thing is new to me and you guys sure schooled me on the nuances of Pop collecting. I've seen them when I take my sons to Gamestop for X-Box stuff, but had no idea what a phenomenon they have become. Some of the ones you said were worth hundreds I saw years ago for $5.99. So,keep up the toy fight. After reading some of the comments, people love you guys! Peace and Blessings.
That is very cool, I bet you have had a ton of fun collecting through the years at conventions etc. I miss the pre ebay days when alot of things people just did not know so you could find cools stuff for a great price. It is crazy how high the value of a lot of pops has gone up the last few years. I think they thing that makes pops so popular is the make toys on almost everything so eventually there is a series you absolutely love that they eventually make pops for.
how do u maintain the box condition isnt this a huge part of the value with these things isnt stacking them putting pressure onthe bottem ones or are they light enough not to damage the boxes
Honestly a find that a damaged box does not bring the values down that much, they still sell well in the shop as long as I adjust the price to compensate for the damage. All my more expensive pops I put in pop protectors to keep them from being damaged. As for the rest I only stack them for a few weeks as most until I sort them into banker boxes that only stack them 2 deep. For me though the main value of having the pops is the content I make with them for youtube. I would not recommend stacking pops up with out protectors.

It means I own a damaged boxed version of the pop so I sell the damaged one I have already at a discounted price and keep the nicer box one for my collection. I am happy because I have a better box and the person who buys the damaged box is happy because they get a pop cheaper then normal price because the box is damaged. A lot of people like discounted damaged boxes for pops to display out of the box.
