Kestrel Hovering on Rodborough Common

A very windy day and I caught this Kestrel (I presume that's what it is!) hovering in the wind on the edge of the common. Considering how windy it was it's ability to remain more or less stationary in flight was amazing.
Eventually it dived to the ground when it spotted something although it had moved a bit too far away from the camera so I didn't film it.
Shot on a phone on a dull day it came out better than I expected.
