Love your new boat james.i am a fan of the hewes craft line of boats,it's def a popular boat here in the Pacific northwest.good solid boat👍maybe one of these days you can come see me in Oregon and I can show you what's up on this side🤘
Another popular thing is the 240 sport jet..but your losing horse lower with the jet,but it allows you to run in shallower water...I think you did good on your selection and what you've done with it so far.good set up👍
What do you fish for, and what techniques? I live in MI, and fish the Great Lakes, mostly trolling. Presently taking a hard look at this boat in a soft top.
Well I love this boat. I mostly fish for monster catfish. Some striper sometimes. This boat can handle anything the lakes can put out here. I like the hard top. The soft tops you will need to replace every three or four years. And with the heat down here I run a generator and a portable ac unit in the cab. It nice. I fish just about everyday. I do a lot of suspend fishing and dragging with planer boards
I have the V8 4 runner, which I think is a must. It pulls well, and the gravity breaks on the trailer are great. You almost don't feel the boat behind you when u r breaking. But when running 65 to 70 on the freeway, I am getting 9.2 mpg. Which is not great. I hauled it from Lake Erie to Tennessee. I also hauled it put to VA and back when I went out there to fish the James River.
@Chogath7 that's what they are made for. Although I am not sure if i would take it that far out. But they use these to go out salmon fishing out in the ocean
Hope you have many years of enjoyment out of her
Congratulations on your beautiful boat James. That will last a lifetime

Great looking boat! How is it towing with the 4runner? V6 or v8?

Is this boat capable of going out about 5-10 miles out to sea? Specifically offshore California?

Nice boat man four USB yous your foot lol
Prov and Sea runner.. why you picked Prov?
What size prop is on your 150?
I don't know off the top of my head. But it's perfect for my boat and motor. I know it's stainless steel. Just don't know the pitch. It is a 3 Blade
What's the round about price on a unit like that if u don't mind me asking
Low 70's
