CASE 2: Animatronics Chapter 1 - 4 | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary

- Almost two years ago I archived a game called Case 2 Animatronics which was a much darker take on the animatronic horror genre. It took a very long time for the chapter to arrive, but this week it finally dropped and that was reason enough to jump back in and archive the game as a whole.
The newest chapter is by far the longest and adds several new and cool looking animatronics including a crocodile and sheep. Much more than previous episodes the gameplay revolves around stealth and puzzle solving with switches.
Though I think the look of the new animatronics were great, the new chapter did still feel a bit buggy. There were times were audio was not playing correctly and the AI also does not seem to spot you at all when you are prone. There was even a section where I believe the animatronic was supposed to follow me, but for whatever reason that did not happen and during that section I never encountered any danger. I confirmed that the animatronic was indeed supposed to be there by checking footage from other TH-camrs.
I did have fun to revisit the older chapters and I still think the design of the animatronics are some of the best out there. A little less of RNG would be great as it sometimes was easier to run away from the monster and hope to hit a checkpoint to progress. There is still apparently one final chapter to come, so I am excited to see how this story will conclude!

I do love the different sounds of the steps. The robot takes especially the super decked out big gator. One honestly was about to shit myself when I see that cat running at you down the hall going like oh crap you’re running into a dead end trying to play it over again, and then suddenly see that gator pop up out of the wall to grab it and tear it to pieces since it said shout and yell, and the gator will come. I’m trying to understand the character that you play that didn’t shout, unless it heard the meow.

Cat: Tries hard to kill anyone, reckless and is not the sharpest tool in the shed.
Owl: A patient toy, kills people who dares to stare at him for too long and chases after them when not in the same room as them.
Bull: They are playful and does it fair. Bull abides by whatever rules the game sets it in, and if there are no rules, chase after them until you no longer have enertia.
Wolf: A stern one. Doesnt take pleasure of running, they can walk faster than most.
Mr. Bite: Literally matter over mind, the most dumbest of the bunch. Attacks anything in the vacanity, regardless of side.

The developers of the game are Russians. That's why the voice acting isn't very good. It's pretty much the same with Snowdrop Escape
