Hey no way I was there right when they opened up Downtown Disney at 7am, got there at around 6:30 to line up for security. I ran as fast as I could when I got through and got in line. Not even 20-30 minutes into them starting to sell the stuff, they said they sold out of mats. Which I was super mad about too. And some people in line behind me had a mat in their hands a few minutes after they said that. Their friends in the front of the line bought their 10 mats so they could give it to their friends or reselling I'm sure. I was so pissed off. If they were super limited like that, they should have only allowed one or two of each mat per person. Because that was only like 20-25 people who got them. They were very well stocked on everything else but I agree I was very disappointed in the mats. I feel like I won't have any luck with Target or Best Buy for retail release day, so I just pre-ordered them for a slight mark-up ($23.99) so I don't have to stress about it when that day comes. Have to pay shipping and a higher tax than I would have at Disney, but hey at least I'm pretty sure I will get them. Unless they cancel which would be awful. But awesome video I'm happy to hear you got stuff. I pulled a Yen Sid Enchanted from one of the 2 troves I bought there, so I consider that a win.
Yah I hear that the Disney staff did not want to deal with the Lorcana line all day so they had the 5 limit to burn through the stock fast , they were sold out of everything but starter decks by noon
@shadypeach oh wow they sold out faster than the last set. Was also disappointed they didn't have Booster Boxes for individual pack sales. Was looking forward to that, but I got two troves so, at least I got a good amount of packs to open
How do you feel about the comparisons with Fishbown Quill and Hidden Inkcaster. They seem relatively the same to me. Fishbone doesn’t replace itself and can ink two per turn. The one you normally play and an uninkable if needed with Fishbone. Hidden Inkcaster isn’t inkable although it cost one less and restricts to solely one ink per turn. I know it may come down to which color it’s in (emerald vs sapphire).
1st box had 5 legendaries (Ursula in the 1st pack, The Queen, Cinderella, Hades and Donald Duck), no enchanted then in my 1st trove in the 1st pack I opened I found a 2nd Ursula, not sure what the ratios are gonna be in this set, found zero enchanteds in set 3 yet so I don’t know 😅😅😅
I dont care for the enchanted so much in this set. First chapter and inklands is best imo. Sorcerers hat from inklands is awesome. Just glad its not too expensive. Im finding its just easier to buy singles of enchanted than buying boosters.
