- Using rooting hormones for succulents seems to be a hot topic right now and quite a few of my followers were interested whether i use them when i propagate succulents at my nursery.
I produce 95% of my own succulents through, leaf and tissue culture but don't use rooting hormones as they are simply not needed thank to our favourable climate. I believe, when it comes to succulents, rooting hormones are a waste of money. However, there may be times when rooting hormones can make a difference.
In this video i will discuss why i don't use hormones and when they may come in handy.

Thanks for sharing!
I used Diatomaceous earth on my plants and since then I have not seen snails or slugs on them.
Might be a coincidence, nevertheless here is my sharing.

I know i dont need to use rooting hormone, even though i just have a short growing season, i use growlights all year long have no issues
Grow lights will definitely do the trick👍 🙂 I think there's a few channels/ social media accounts that push for use of rooting hormones on succulents and it confuses a lot of people that are not very familiar with these plants..
