- If you’ve ever wanted an instant camera, this is the one I’d recommend. This is Kodak's Mini Shot 3 Retro 2-1 Camera. You can load cartridges of paper into it and print whatever you capture. It also has Bluetooth compatibility, which means you can connect your phone and print any photo in your phones camera roll to it. It’s also a lot cheaper than other instant cameras averaging about 30 cents per photo, where others average about a dollar per photo. This 2-1 feature and it’s affordable cartridges, is what makes this instant camera (in my opinion) better than the rest!

Also it is just a dye sublimation printer with a digital camera built in, so not even comparable to an instax or a polaroid

The camera is cute but it’s very hard to find the film for them. There are no vendors on Amazon who sell them and the Kodak website is not a reliable source either. I own this camera and ended buying about 10-12 films from a vendor overseas and have come to terms with once I run out this camera will be for display only.

Its a hybrid between a digicam and an instax printer
but it's films are too expensive

How good is colour reproduction of printed photos ??
I bought ine for my gf and the battery life is awful. On a full charge, prints 3-5 photos and the camera is dead.

@@Alex_Ebner ... Why, because the Instax EVO is so much cheaper, and the "Leica" version is basically the same camera. In fact it is the same camera with the little red "buy me, I'm a red dot" voodoo magic going on.
I'd buy the instax version because a red dot is just a
red dot, and just think of all that equally expensive Instax film that you could buy with the money that you didn't use on buying the Leica Sofort.
Instax film is much more readily available

No you can't. The paper or film carries the entire cartridge needed for printing!

I’ve printed photos on it from my Spain trip photos taken on the A7IV! They actually came out so good! I’m honestly just using it as a printer

This literally is not an instant camera, it’s a portable photo printer that happens to have a digital camera built in.
Why does every camera bro trying to sell a camera and talk about how great it is always seem to have the same desk, same wall, same lighting and same weird colour grade going on? 😂 (Not trying to hard diss, just I feel I have seen this video like 1,000,000 times because it looks identical to (almost!) every other video short relating to cameras on TH-cam)

This isn’t an instant camera, it’s a camera with a photo printer in it. Where’s the chemistry magic, where’s the instant ejection. I know this isn’t an issue for a lot of people but it bothers me personally.
Photo quality is terrible though
You can’t compare it to the quality of a $4000 professional camera, because it’s just not with its pinhole camera and sensor. However I’ve used it as a printer to print photos from my professional camera and quality has been great!
@@StefanoLombardoYT I’m not comparing it to a $4000 camera. The print quality is awful. It’s better than ZINK but still terrible. Something like the Fuji Instax Mini Evo has the same pinhole type lens but produces way better quality photos.
Not just photo quality the build quality is worse, just wait till your cartridge gets stuck inside, its not just me its a common problem with this camera.
