Chad, Thank you for mentioning the SACD's at the end . Can't express enough appreciation for your commitment to those of us who choose the DSD medium. A number of great titles you mentioned in this round...Bad Company, Yes, and the one I'm most elated about...Coltrane Plays The Blues. And yeah, what an awesome cover?
Same, but she actually thinks it's cool to fill up our album storage racks. The secret is to set her up with her own system that she can easily use playing records, and a nice streamer and CD player. She makes a comment on my sick addiction, but she actually loves the music.
I love every AP release I have purchased in the past, I have 8 UHQR’s so far, but this series has just blown me away, I never thought I would get some of these titles in this quality . It’s amazing
This series has been a breath of fresh air. The last 4 years has been so much jazz. It’s great to hear the classic rock and blues and soul. The production quality has been 5 star all the way
The Atlantic 75 titles I've picked up so far - are easily the best-sounding releases in my library. Each title from Phil Collins to CSN to Hootie to Foreigner, have all been spectacular. Looking forward to future titles. Cheers.
I'm so thankful that Analogue Productions keeps releasing stellar pressings, faithfully reproduced album covers and the option of SACD too. This series, even though it started not too long ago, already became legendary. I'm hoping to get the new 45RPM CSN couch album soon (ordered by my local record store), plus several other releases that a re pre-ordered. Besides the titles we know are coming, I also hope Analogue Productions will dig further into the CSN - related- area. For instance the Stephen Stills debut album and the currently out of print Manassas double album. I love the fact that we are able to get the 45RPM and SACD format. Anyway, many thanks to Chad (in Chad we trust) and his team. ~Marjet
I have 6 of these titles on LP and really have loved the quality of the mastering/cut/press and the laminated covers are just the best I have seen. Great job Chad, Acoustic Sounds, Atlantic, QRP, and everybody at AP working to make this happen. Epic!
Haha I love the loud CLACK sound the record jackets make when he tosses them onto the pile on the table. That signature sound of just how rigid, thick and heavy duty those jackets are is like music to my ears 😊
Thank you for the update Chad. Very excited to see that 90125 on vinyl is scheduled for release in June! I really thought that I'd be waiting a couple of years for my order to arrive. Would love to hear that TP!
Thanks Chad! Great video update! Any status updates on the UHQR VINYL RECORD Steely Dan - Gaucho (45 RPM 200 Gram Clarity Vinyl)? Looking forward to this release and the rest of the Steely Dan UHQR releases!
Amazing Chad ,seeing those Yes titles coming has made my day. Already have the Genesis,Phil Collins they sound absolutely incredible, Thanks Chad for doing these Prog rock albums a game changer 🙏✊
Thank you Chad!! There are 2 Genesis albums, IMO, that would really benefit from the 45 RPM mastering. Wind & Wuthering and Duke. Both albums are over 50 min long and I’m sure an AP version would be the best version ever. 🤞🍀
Completely agree on Duke and for many reasons. 1. Duke has one of the longest durations per side on the Genesis catalog. It will benefit from the 2 x 45 the same way as Selling England did. 2. It looks like something did not go as expected during the original recording / mastering and a new special treatment like the one recently done to Crosby Stills and Nash is required to improve the sound on this magnificent album. 3. The order and duration of the songs is a perfect fit for the 2x45. Side one will have the 3 piece suite - Behind the lines, Duchess and Guide Vocal. And Side 4 will have Duke's Travels and Duke's End. Please release this Genesis album in 2 x 45!
It would be sacrilege to many, but I'd be fine if they did Wind & Wuthering and swapped the order of One For The Vine and Your Own Special Way. This would balance the four side lengths nicely.
Dilemma here is that so far pretty much all A75 are definitive titles, I have a few CSN/Y MoFi's, seems I may need to sell these quickly before prices plummet when the A75's are issued. Aside this, what an amazing series this is, thanks Chad
Thanks so much for the update! I have been loving the Atlantic 75 titles that I purchased so far and my early best reissue of 2024 is Alice Cooper's Welcome to My Nightmare!! It's a brillain album and incredible sounding! Cheers
Hey Chad...Otis, Wilson, Boz, Dr John, Deja Vu...man!!!..doesn't get any better than this...or does it??? Keep 'em comin Chad..you and AP ARE THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!
I have my doubts about Tiny Music and No. 4 being recorded to tape. The Tiny Music credits indicate digital editing. Vinyl Me Please did a decent job with No. 4. It sounds better than the original CD
Aaaaand of course most of the ones I've ordered are coming late this year or next year. But at least they are coming. Everything I've gotten so far has been killer.
I can see that Yes Album has wings when it's released. It is still my fav Yes record. The Boz Scaggs debut album is hard to find used, another great title as are many others coming out. The original Canadian Atlantic pressing of If Only I Could Remember My Name sounds quite good. Perhaps the US wasn't as good but I know the new reference version will be this QRP Atlantic 75th coming in April. Congrats on the 75th Anniversary issues so far Chad.
Nice video and a very useful update, whilst I am not looking to get every release there are a good number that I want to buy and they are nicely spread across the year and into 2025 which helps with the finances. Great stuff thanks Chad.
This series is awesome, and it's going to break my banking account... I already got the Cracked Rear View album and it sounds amazing. I look forward to also getting the Matchbox20 album and also the STP albums. Yeah I'm a 90s kids, so this kicks ass!
Core is already backordered? How? It was just released. All the other titles have stayed in stock... I was waiting till another title was released to place my order. Guess I should have pre-ordered it...
This sold way better than we expected. Sorry. It is back on the press now and within the next 10 days should be in stock. As always, buy now or cry later!

Thank you for the honest updates. It's good to hear what's going on in the background. Any updates on a repress of Stevie Ray Vaughan's Texas Hurricane SACD boxed set?
Exciting lineup this year! I honestly can’t imagine splitting songs like Close To The Edge or Suppers Ready in half though. Not sure the improvement is worth losing the immersion of these phenomenal pieces, but at least the flip sides are worth the price of admission. I’m going to go over budget, so time to start eating ramen.
Hi Chad very impressed with the Alice cooper welcome to my Nightmare sounds amazing, unfortunately the price in Australia isn’t so impressive for these titles at $125
THE SERIES SOUNDS AMAZING !!!! Don't stop at 75 titles. Please, please, please include Genesis Wind and Wuthering, Genesis And Then There Were Three, and Genesis Duke. SACDs please, please, please!!!!!!!!
it's crazy to make these albums in 45rpm, it's like every 2 songs you need to swap side.. just how much really does pressing original in 45rpm really contribute against the hassle of swapping sides/records every 2-3 songs?
Agree with everybody here in the comments regarding STP. I’m hopeful that more mid/late 80s, early/mid 90s Rock, Alt Rock, Hard Rock, Metal will get the AS/AP/QRP treatment. I do know that a lot of the bands that fall into aforementioned genres above, their albums were tracked to analog tape. Not all of them, but a large number of these bands records were. I do know that many of late 80s, early 90s Seattle bands records were all analog; like the Sub Pop bands, some of the SST bands, the Big 4 “Grunge” bands early records were all analog…. So I’m really hoping Chad and Co do some of these records in the future. I received STP Core from FedEx this weekend, and it’s incredible. Absolutely blown away by the quality. Multiple pressings of this record, Original, MOV, 25th anniversary mini box, and the 30th anniversary 4 LP Box, and my initial impressions thus far have exceeded my expectations. I’d say as of now, having spun all my copy’s twice thru, in comparison with this new AP release, the AP easily surpasses all of them.
Hi Chad...I'm loving the Genesis releases so far. Any chance we can get a release of "Duke"? That is such a killer album from start to finish. Obviously I would love to have the entire Genesis catalog, but "Duke" is my favorite from them by far.
there is no substitute for quality. I might resent that this guy has the boomers right where he wants them if he weren't a record lover. I second his opinion of the Dr. John album, he just plays in a best of New Orleans quality, without all witch doctor persona. When he mentioned the pleasure of hearing your favorite album sounding better than ever before, he said a mouthful. Lots of money has been spent pursuing that thrill on the other side of the vinyl record equation , the record playing equipment. The difficulty of buying audiophile equipment is that a lot of time, spending more money is a mistake, and the same level of achievement can be found for less. Blend a male ego together with the crazy human hearing process and things can get expensive for no reason .
So glad you made the decision to put off David Crosby. This is why we trust you guys so much. Can’t wait for that. And STP Purple - awesome! Is it possible to reissue some Smashing Pumpkins at some point?

Chad and Team…Thank you. You have been hitting it out of the park.
AS needs to release more of these newer titles like STP if they want to attract another generation of (younger) audiophiles.
There's something to be said about AP's usual fare when everyone keeps saying a nearly 32 year old album is a "newer" title.
I agree though!
Thanks, AP/AS/QRP, your passion and care shows in the product! Definitely the production these albums deserve!
Chad just want to thank you and all your team. Keep up the great work. I appreciate it.
