In case you blow the woofers and Rockford doesn’t have replacements in stock or maybe you just want to try a different woofer . The Rockford kit is a great kit and we strongly recommend sticking with the Rockford subwoofers but a lot of you have been asking me if the woofers can be swapped for others so here is your answer.

Carlitos is by far the best informationalist on bike audio out there. Waiting for Chicago winter to put my order in. Thinking of keeping the RF lid kit (He says they sound good with power). Upgrading the RF amp and front speakers. Maybe two 400.4s or one 800.4 along with sending my RF DSP.

thanks for the info,, after watching this I went down to the local audio shop in town and purchased a M1 they also had an M2 which they said could handle a lot more but it is a 1/2" deeper so i bought the M1 it had the right holes in the back for the mounting studs but they where not tapped for threads so i will have to buy a tap to install the studs I'm going to do that today, but i did install the speaker and ran it with out the back mounting studs and just secured it with the front screws and it worked perfect better than waiting 4 weeks for a the HD dealership to order me one in. it only took me about 15 minutes to replace the speaker. Thanks for all your help.

one more note, i was the first one at my local Hd dealership to install the this stage 4 audio kit in the past two years the service manager told me that he personally has blown 3 subs and others have lost 3 more myself included in one i just blew. any ideas as to why they are failing so often or is that to be expected with a saddle bag?
Carlos I have a question for you if you have the time. Can you find out if there's a difference between harleys rockford fosgate drop in woofer and the drop in woofer that rockford fosgate sells through their website and other distributors. Specs. Thanks in advance.
Carlos, I’m one of the guys down south currently running 2 6X9’s in each bag. Since I’m always looking for my next upgrade, is that Rockford 10 inch sub Kit worth my money or should I just go with duel 8’s . Oh by the way I am one of the Ground Pounders who ride every day sun up to sun down, volume on 25 plus
I liked my 8's alot of midbass just took up more room in the bag then I thought.
Run double 8s or a single ten on each side with big power
Your best bet is to find a Square 10 inch sub that will work with your bag. A Square sub has more cone surface than two round 8 inch subs and the 10 inch Square sub will get lower as well.
I have a 4 speaker setup and want to add subs or midbass. I won't be getting the Rockford setup I'll be just putting them in the bags. Honestly don't have a big budget but need suggestions if possible.

Carlos I bought some of these subs installed in Salina Kansas less than 5 hours on them already blew one . Which sub replacement do you recommend for the incloshure? I love there box, but have lost faith in their subs now that I've seen this video and know others are having problems.
Have u had chance to test the 3 sub woofer replacements?

Rockford kinda shady tho… my Bluetooth module went bad… they made me crush it with a hammer first and send them a picture before sending me a new one… smh.
