Rockford Fosgate did a great job on this removable subwoofer drop in kit . You can have all the bass you need when staying local and you can have all your bag space when you travel .
To say that I was impressed would be a understatement.
Rockford has let me down in the past but not this time 👍🏽🙏🏼👏🏼👌🏼
For the money there is better options but I give credit to RF for doing such an excellent job on this kit. I was shocked they even included a hole saw bit. Thank you for the in depth review.
Are those "better options" removable?
I cut and rewelded the air tank bracket with a cutout for the amp plug, works great!
I think it’s good for the average user . Nice concept for removable subs
Can you let me no when the Rockford Fosgate Drop in Subwoofer comes available for a 2024 CVO Harley Davidison. Or can you make a kit for it.

Just got back from Daytona bike week had the 10” Rockford fosgate kit in stalled on my 18 street glide special I paid 2500 and the install was free great deal there gave the tec a great tip for his work he also reset the settings on my front amp that were in correct took him 2 and half hours and I got to sit there and watch the whole time he took no short cuts and the sound is definitely an upgrade and perfect add on to the stage 3 I had installed on my bike last year very easily removable of want to get rid of the bass you just paid to get long road trip I have a pack with me for cloths I prefer my bass safe riding everyone . At what speed do you stop hearing these subs? I'm considering adding one myself
Was at sturgis 2021 and they sold the crap out of these. They sounded 👍

It's a nice concept,test different speakers components for more output that fit and sound good in the rf box,then you will have something,the option of taking it in/out is decent

Its nice the pods are removable but if im giving up bag space its gotta be for competition level sound specially at that price point

so glad I'm starting my bike build with years of car building experience. I'm blown away by the prices they want for basic audio. one question. from your personal experience. Are 10s even worth it over 8s in a saddlebag setup.

Did they redesign these? Current ones show black sub and bigger recess in top for lid speakers? And left side subs now have the cutout for Amp? I'm considering buying one for left side and run a soundigital amp to it but what are the speakers specs? 4ohm? What rms to run? 300rms?
I'm very new to this. I purchased this set up used. I have everything but the templates and grills. Rockford doesn't offer anything other than the full kit...... Any suggestions on what I can do?

Yes but the m5 requires bigger power and ground . You will have to customize the harness .
Hey Carlos, As we discussed a while ago, I have the Harley Audio powered by rockford stage 2 on my trike. It's not too bad for a DIY and a daily rider for $1,250.00. We discussed how it would sound with a radio flash so I was waiting to hear your review. I have a feeling the flash will render the benefits of the BME and the R Tune to not work or not work properly. I can't wait to see what you find out.

Lol. All of it. No bass is made for listening while at speed. It’s all behind you. You’re leaving it behind. And your pipes cause cancellations in lower frequencies. It’s for low speed and the parking lot.
Do these subs work on a Limited with the non removable tour pack
Have a 2007 street glide with a 400 sound digital amp yawing a EQ on it for the 6.5 and 4 horn tweeters sounds good but can’t turn it up past 20 they start cutting out it’s not the amp should I get a Dsp instead of the EQ

At 19:15 to 19:24 I would have to say if this is a customers bike I would try to be a little bit more careful with the paint. If I saw this video and this was my bike… granted I have a 2021 CVO but if I just saw you throwing/letting go of the wiring harness to smack up against my paint I would be a little butt hurt. 🤷🏻♂️ just my two cents.

You think we could modify the inclosure to fit bigger 6x9s? Maybe heat and warp the the enclosure down where the 6x9 would hit it?

looks like 6x9 Bigger Magnet speakers won't fit. like : Diamond Audio, or Beyma

Because they are designed for 14 and up.
