Merci !!!
Crisp, clean, controlled. Merci M. Marty - tres bien. Maybe Canada should really look at these... We could put our own comms etc. in it. The performance is impressive no matter who is seeing it! With staggered afterburner engagement, one may apply an intermediate thrust , push it up a bit, second burner cuts in, called "tuning"
The Rafale is sooo beautiful in the sky ! Elegant if you can call such a kiling machine that ! I am glad the Egyptian Air Force has Rafales . An important addition to our Defense . perhaps there is an option to operate only one afterburner at a time ?? Only asking .
Yes it has that option, as do all multi engined planes. But it does seem strange that a pilot would intentionally select 1 afterburner, in a display. Unless that's what they wanted to display.
@FUCK SHIT What are you rambling on about? The pilot decides what to do using the throttle...a computer doesn't adjust the power of the engines for the pilot. And literally all modern fighters have automatic countermeasure systems, so I don't see what's so special about the Rafale here. And when you say the Rafale "remains undefeated" against of bunch of other modern planes, you fail to see that these are all training exercises with heavy limitations placed on the pilots and aircraft. They are nothing more than TRAINING, stop acting like that means anything for the Rafale. The F15, F16, and F18 have been proven in combat, I don't see the Rafale on that list. That isn't to say the Rafale isn't a great aircraft, but you don't have the clearance to actually know any of this. The only way we can tell if a fighter is successful is if it has been proven in combat, and that can't be said for the Rafale.
The most unusual thing I noticed was flying a back seater during a display. The only other time I have seen this happen has been during RAF Tornado GR4 Role Demonstrations at RAF Leuchars airshows. The Red Arrows fly their techs (Circus) in the back but only for transit flights, not during display flights
They usually fly a single seater for displays (there was a beautiful paint scheme for this purpose on the 2017 display aircraft that eventually got repainted at the end of the season), but on this occasion, Sanicole being one of the last displays of the final year of "Marty" as a display pilot, he took "Babouc", the future display pilot in the backseat to familiarize him with display flights. Marty will then be his coach for the next seasons
Is it possible he had reheat applied to left engine for some of the manoeuvres. I noticed it to but he had reheat applied on right engine before and after the occasion you mentioned
Lirian ngx This is obviously not a failure from the M88 turbofan ! Look at 5:17, two afterburner applied no problems. He probably use only one for some manoeuvres ?!
Nothing serious don't worry. You cannot control the two afterburner separately. If I remember well, in Florennes Marty told me that it was an automatic setting that was blocking the concerned afterburner because of a parameter :) But it doesn't influence that much the thrust and manoeuvres can be done correctly.
Yes , At the start up You see Marty with Babouc who became and is still the new display Pilot 2018 , 2019. At the rehearsel you see them Both with the Duo Seat Rafale .But the French special Painted Rafale is a one seater and was flown by Marty .

Superb👌 Thanks. Very enjoyable. Subscribed
Belle vidéo , très professionnelle .

Trop fort..😉👍👏😍

awesome the show with single power

I've seen the red have 2 people during displays at riat, they said that they were the shortlist candidates for the next season
Le meilleur.
I also was at the sanicole airshow and i wondered what was wrong with the afterburner of the right engine.
He had the same problem In Florennes last year look at the display :

@@boeufalexandre631 a problem can occur for just a few seconds like a fuel blocage or delayed ignition.
You don't see outside turns with jets at the speed he was going, if at all. The g's on his shoulders must have been tremendous....kudos to the pilot!
I watched the video! Amazing display! They used several times only left engine's afterburner. Am I right?
Yes , But the reason was that one of the afterburners was defect.
@@marcs_best_airshow_videos Thx!

who else found that right engine isn't working ?
Lucas_93 everyone
Lucas_93 engine is working, afterburner wasn’t lit on it during part of the display.
Staggered afterburner applied on individual engine. Almost like selective vectorial thrust. Brilliant!!
Imagine how good this routine would have been had BOTH engines worked properly??? On a display aircraft too, that really is too bad!!
Avec une PC en panne…
