Used to be great to climb across the pipe and sit on it, freezing cold on hot days. Then trundle into the field to scrump an apple or two. My Grandad would put me on his shoulder's and carry me to the Mill from the Oak tree at Quarry Hill. On the way back we would stop at Mrs Hoadley's for sweets.
