Thx for the video. Why does the wizard not recognize the first bars, too? When I try too mark it manually I don't get the BPM you get (around 60). So I have some problems with that.
Question 1: At 1:28 is this in Finder/Explorer or is it in Import? Question 2: So now I have the chords AND the song. How do I get rid of imported song from playing so I can carry on with just the chords alone?

@@pgmusicinc Thanks but this is the problem with these tutorials. They are seldom the latest version and there are no absolute beginners guide o the latests version that I can find. I have just upgraded from the 2011 version to 2022 version which is a completely new learning curve different interfaces. It drained the memory on my laptop (43GB!!!!) so i tried transferriung the biggest file folder to an external drive. Result: missing files so i transferred them back. Result: missing files. This software is way to complez for my need to generate backing tracks and use the chord wizard to figure out chords I dont know in songs. Im gladd I still have my version 2022 which has a far more useful and feature packed interface or maybe just so much easier to use. Everything is so small on version 222. Its the same old problem with evolving software generally the earluer versions are easier to use. I also thought I was paying $67 for the upgrade but on checkout it was $100. a loit of momney when all I need are a dozen or so new styles!
Quetion: Why is it my imported wave (lets say recorded at 120bpm) always results in BIB slowing the tempoo or speeding it up in the tempo box? I always equalize tempo, but still no consistency. BTW- I am exporting the wave for analysis from Reaper. Any thoughts?

So does mean I can download a youtube video as a mp3 and then load it into BIB then add lyrics to create a play along video?

There is no MARKER MODE on my 2022 version and the file does not drag and drop as you showed.
