    Still mind Joe Hanlon fighting in Longriggend with 2 Cook Cons that were down from Low Moss, I was standing waiting for Canteen, pretty certain that was 1988 / 89
    When Paul was going through his trail I was in E- Hall and visitors that were up would always ask why all the police were outside and the chopper above Bar-L
    The chopper would only fly away when Paul was back in the wendy. Still feels weird thinking back on those times.
    These uploads or anything similar always brings those memories back like they happened a few weeks ago.
    Even passing Bar-L on the M8 brings them back, I just glare at the pace as all the memories return, those wee shops at the end of the street where you bought a few scud mags for some doods square up.

    never knew barL had a yoi tbh

    • @alanmctavish4802
      @alanmctavish4802 ปีที่แล้ว

      @kerrylyons same here, i didnt know barlinnie had a yo wing? I knew the yo's would go to bar-l from court after being sentencend for just the night and the same with every other over 21s jail they took yo's in after court. Like barlinnie, low moss, perth, saughton, greenock, shotts, most if not all the big jails. Except glenochil dont take people in from court. But there lodgers that will be moving to polmont or glenochil the next morning. But i have never heard of under 21s being kept in barlinnie to do a sentence on the yo wing, or hall, as there known in bar-l and most scottish jails. Perth was massive in the 80s and 90s, it had 5 big main halls A Hall to E Hall plus other bits. And they pulled C Hall down in 2000, i think. It was as big as barlinnie. And it still is big. But its been changend a bit and renovated. And holds nearly 700 inmates.
