- Overgrown mowing action with a lawn mower and brush cutter / string trimmer. Tackling some long grass and weeds. Using a Weibang walk behind lawn mower and a Stihl weed eater.

Be careful the white flowered plant at 0:37 seconds is common hogweed and it can cause a similar blistering to giant hogweed.
Personally having had burns from it i always wear a lightweight long sleeve t shirt if im strimming long grass.

Yeh ive had those blisters on my arms before, horrible little things, takes years for the scars to fade. I always have my compression sleeves on when strimming now 👍.

Great post. I ran Weibangs for a season, 53cm SSD and 48cm pro roller, best mowers I’ve ever had in terms of finish, use in the wet and what they could go through. But they were just too heavy to run up and down the ramp all day. Shame fabulous machines.
Agreed, they are great mowers but a touch on the heavy side 👍
I've never used the side discharge on my weibang. Much faster than strimming and raking!
Saves a lot of time and easier on the body.
That seems to be à good mower you use there. I am so disapointed with my Husqvarna. May I ask which model it is? Thanks a lot for taking time to answer my question.
What husqvarna have you got? This is the weibang virtue 53 ssd bbc, its a bit of a heavy beast though for regular mowing. 👍
@@RJLgardens Husqvarna LC 451 S. The problem is that the belt keeps going off and the mower is not self propelled anylonger. The mechanic is not able to give me any clue for what's happening... the mower is only one year old!
@@sylviacheve7837 That's annoying for such a new mower, would of thought that would be easy to diagnose as well 🤷♂

Hi great video,i was wondering if you have tried it on thick wet grass rear discharge,if so how does it perform as i have large area which always wet and thick and the timemaster blocks up unless middle of summer when for a month will dry out ,any views on the weibang would be much appreciated,thank you.
I've tried really overgrown grass on rear discharge and it did ok, the side discharge is alot better for that sort of thing though especially if you are taking off quite alot. The weibang is pretty good and can plow through stuff, its quite heavy so suited to the more larger open areas

Hi Rob, when you using cutting line what size, brand and profile do you use? Thx
I use and have quite a few different sizes and types of line. My normal go-to though would be stihl round 2.4mm line for the light everyday use then onto the stihl 3mm round for the overgrown jobs with my larger trimmer.

What do you do when you mow the lawn hard...? The mowed grass is thrown away in the garden as garbage...? Other TH-camrs (with more than 100,000 subscribers) mow the lawn and then clean up the lawn trash and take it away.
You don't have to pick up systematically the clippings, you do it where the lawn/grass is close to the house but where it is remote then you can leave them on the ground.
Every place is different and depends on its needs as Sylvia says 👍
