How do you keep your curls from falling out. An hour after I curl my hair they have fallen out and my hair is straight again.
Try sea salt texture spray after you are done, spray it on your hand and scrunch the product in.
It probably is mostly due to hair type and texture, unfortunately.
Don’t blow dry your hair beforehand. If I do that, the curls never stay but if I air dry and comb here and there while drying, the curls stay all day. If you need to dry it quicker, use cool setting on dryer.
Don’t use too many emollient products on your hair before hand, and use a fixing spray x

Use a bigger wand and don't leave it on for too long ;)
Ari Sánchez maybe your hair isn’t fully dried. If it is try adding some oil to smooth it out. If the curl is tight your barrel is too small or leave it to curl too long
When you go to the gym, how do you avoid your hair from getting messy?
I usually throw it up into a pineapple ponytail at the top of my head and it helps

Every other video tutorials I have seen on the beachy waves style says curl your hair one way then another but you said go one direction. I think you are correct because your hair has symmetry that no other video has. Thank you for the nugget of information!

I’ve been doing beachy waves think bed head I’m with the band messy texture since the 90’s this is nothing new- BUT- heat is very damaging to your hair so if you want to get that sexy tasseled beach wave without heat wrap your hair in a bun! Also you can do coconut oil hair or olive oil treatments!

How long does it stay like this? My hair is long and thick as well, falls flatish within 3-4 hours. Even when I have it styled.
