    Welcome to my world!
Ron and Andy built my Crazy Horse M21A5 in 2009... I was so impressed with that build that I had them build me their version of the SOCOM 16 in 2010. This stubby M14 made it's world debut at SHOT 2011 and it has SEI's 4 groove 1: 10 16.25" barrel chambered for M118-LR. I have it in a Blackfeather RS chassis stock and I have shot sub-MOA groups @ 100 yards with SEI's Wind Talker suppressor attached.
Ron and Andy are the best, enjoy your SEI rifles!

Very nice. I know my gunsmith speaks HIGHY of smith Enterprises. He'd actually in the process of going over my socom 16 now. I'm differently having accuracy issues. Shot groups at 50 yards are all over the place.

New sub .. I have had my SOCOM for over 10 years .. love it for many of the reasons you mention .. but those look like some very common sense upgrades. I will be in AZ for a couple weeks in dec .. it may be time to drop my rifle off at SE. Thank you. Enjoyed the video and will be checking out more of yours.

Can anyone tell me approximately how much the build Jeremy had done might run me ? Ok, please no "if you have to ask you can't afford it" crap. I'm an old man and don't have the disposable income other people do to spend on their toys. I would love to have this done to my M1A Socom. You younger guys don't know how lucky you are to still have the income to be able to this.

Most of us gun guys are tradesmen. Thanks to everyone else either going off to college to saturate the market with useless degrees and or getting hooked on drugs those of us like myself who dropped out of high school and learned how to turn a wrench on an old foxbody mustang with a Chilton manual in my Dads driveway are doing quite well for ourselves. Not to brag but along with paying off my truck, making my mortgages payments and supporting a wife and son I've spent at least 10k on "toy" pew pews in the last year.

Boomers have no excuse to be broke. You literally sold the future of the nation (current day) for a very materialistic and hedonistic life. Those Gen X p.o.s that want to brag about "picking up a wrench" to spend 10k on "toys" are no better, shows stupidity. Better make sure your son is yours, we know what women do while you're out turning that wrench all day. Lol

I can appreciate your love for the Socom i have one also, our interest in the shorter barreled rifles prompted me to peek your interest in the M-14k, its designed by Tim La France of La France industries ( he's a pretty interesting guy ) it's built on a Smith receiver and a few other changes you'll find intriguing, i have one of the few made and no doubt my favorite rifle, check it out think you'll like it.

Oh boy was I excited to see the title of this vid. I own a Socom 16 and absolutely love it. This rifle has been bashed hard in the past and I just don't understand why. I understand there a lemons out there but you can find that in any high production firearm. I had the pleasure of talking to Ron a few years back and was planning on sending my Socom to Smith Enterprises for some of the same work you had them perform. Unfortunately for me I wasn't able to afford it at the time. But now things are different and after your review I have become more motivated to finally have the work done by S.E.. If I may ask, how long did it take to have the work done and how comparable is the S.E. muzzle brake to the Stock break? Any chance you could provide a parts list for your sleeper mods?
