Well the end of the video question is a tricky one? 😂 I once had an entire professional career and, brace yourself, I used Franklin Covey. But I took notes for everything, what people said, what my boss said in meetings, what my boss said outside of meetings, what people did and what they agreed to. I documented every job I have ever had in the most finite detail and I must tell you that it saved my butt on more than one occasion. I didn’t throw anything away, one dude on my team said I had J. Edgar Hoover files on people locked up somewhere? I would laugh at that but he was not wrong? I had files and files of notes that I would organize and index at home under lock and then added a padlock to that. I have been accused of stealing a laptop, didnt do that and was able to prove by my notes I wasn’t even there (by time then by video cameras that were everywhere but because I had the time down they found me leaving almost to the minute of when I said I did) but I had documented who was there when I left. They got caught. Don’t get me started on the dudes that propositioned me. It was a hostile work environment, swimming with sharks, you became one in your own way or you didn’t make it? My Dad gave me that advice when I graduated from college and had my first job. He told me to keep notes, detailed notes on everything, I had chosen a male dominated field and it was going to be rough. He told me that I wouldn’t be popular when people caught on but to remember that I was there to do my job not get involved in petty crap. So I did exactly that. And he was 💯 right. I even kept detailed notes on every single thing I worked on during my time at work, by time block with details. That helped with performance reviews, I would arrange my notes for that evaluation timeframe and be like, you left this out, and this, and this, I did this and this and this and that. It made the difference so many times and it is the first advice I give to anybody in a professional work place. Thanks Jess! 💕

I use a Happy Planner Simply Layout. I love it. I'm hoping to find another one for 2025 that is not Disney. I like Disney just not for my work planner.

Answer: yes I use a work planner. I use pages from various different planners depending on the work load. Keeps me focused on top priorities. I even got my co-worker to start using one!!
