Wow - what at terrific video...loved that the names of the towns were included. I was born in Nuernberg but moved to the States a long long time ago, however, I have been back many times and reading the names of all those little towns brought a lot of memories back. Thanks for posting this video...it must have taken a lot of time and effort.
ANNIE H. Hi Annie, thank you for the very nice feedback, which makes putting the effort into making the film so much more worthwhile. Best wishes to you.
I've been trying to fly to my hometown since April but with the crazy Coronavirus I'm stuck in Florida. Can't wait to go home to see my family as soon as I can. I moved to Florida 38 years ago but visit Nuernberg frequently! Love the video. At least I could imagine that I was landing there! It was really great to read all the names of small towns and even the parts of the city like Ziegelstein and Laufamholz. Really well done. Thank you so much und viele liebe Gruesse...........hoffentlich bis bald in Nuernberg!
After I left the love of my life and returned to the USA, I often dreamt of flying back to Nurnberg on Friday night after work. Lufthansa was the airline of choice for travel to Germany. However Icelandic had the best prices. My dream depicted me arriving at 9 PM , dropping in the “Chez Max” gasthaus and surprising “ l my love and all our friends. I never came up with the cash , so it never happened. In the passing of time she asked me if it was OK she dated others in my absence. Lainie was only 18 and I couldn’t asker her to wait fir me any longer. I wasn’t man enough to admit my return would never happen. I regret it all now. Two years in Germany and I avoided all romantic entanglements. My last three weeks there I met her and my world turned upside down. To this day in my 80’s I still think of here. Its not the first and only love I lost as a result of my hesitation.
Oh Jim, that is such a poignant story. I’m sad for your lost love but I’m glad that you have gone on to live a good long life. Were you there in the 60s? It’s never too late to revisit but Lainie could be anywhere now. Have you ever tried tracing her?
This is so sad to read, my channel is not connected with Nuremburg Airport, but the Managing Director is called Dr Michael Hupe, the email address for the airport is information@airport-nuernberg.de . I hope that you can get some closure on this.
Super. Schöne Heimat.
Tolles Video
Danke

Thanks for the lovely comment Erika, I’m glad that you liked the film, and I hope that you can get home soon. 🤞
You have forsaken Nurnberg for Florida? Are you Nuss?
Tolles Video!
Bin total begeistert. I'm filled with enthusiasm. Thanx a lot!
Thanks!
Moss Travel Media very nice video
You are welcome!
Thanks!
Sehr schön!!
Echt richtig richtig gutes Video. Man muss erstmal wissen, welche Ortschaft wo ist. Und das noch von oben. Respekt, echt klasse gelungen. 😉

One thing stands out the landscape is quite forestry. Germany is green with very old infrastructure.

@@stuartmoss gracias por la información
This is the typical german landscape, not alpine mountains like on the southern border of bavaria...
Its not Malmsbach ist Schwaig : )
Oh well, I tried, my apologies!
landing in nuremberg is top snice 1933.
