Just get a real piercing. It's so much better for your skin. Especially because so many of these "fake piercings" that you order online off places like Amazon are made with cheap metals and material that isn't good for your skin. The magnetic ones, as the original commenter said, also cause damage over time. I got my nose piercing a few weeks ago, and it's great! It's also a 100% safe option when it's done right and taken care of during the healing stage. So many teenagers and kids get these fake nose and body jewelry that aren't good for their skin. :(

Idk about belly piercings but ironically, once you get over the initial healing, a real piercing is way less annoying than a fake one. I used to wear fake septum rings and always had a painfully itchy nose from it. I almost forget I have a real one now.
I've had a piercing in my tragus for over a decade, it has to be removed by a piercer or bolt cutters so i've never bothered, it's never gotten infected or irritated, i never notice it at all unless i'm actively touching my ear for some reason. XD

Tbh I can see it working depending on how deep your belly button is and if theres enough loose skin. The more firm n taut the skin the less likely it is to work without them sliding towards each other. But if there's more skin and it's not too thick it cld work. Though it would be painful I imagine and could dig into your skin. A real piercing is way less painful. Even clip ons are super tight and dig into your skin. I had clip on earings after I got gauges, b'cuz I cldnt afford a second piercing and it wasn't worth the pain. Stretching my gauges out was easier to bare and handle I just used weighted plugs, super easy and it doesn't ache for ever afterwards.
Just get it pierced when you turn 18 or whenever your area allows you to do it with a parent's permission. I got mine done nearly 20 years ago, I barely remember it's there, but it's still cute! 😅

As a person with an actual belly piercing, literally why?? Belly button piercings feel like nothing, basically, and they heal fast asf a lot of the time. These magnetic ones can rip uneven holes in your skin. Why would you do that to yourself instead of opting for the safe and reliable option??
These fake belly piercings hurt all the time you wear them, real piercings only for a short time while you Pierce it (and if you are not careful it might also get irritated during healing) so personally I don't really get the preference? But maybe if youre not sure about the commitment then a fake one would be a better option

Never use magnetic jewelry, especially on cartilage, that shit hurts real bad after about 30 minutes. Literally hurts worse then getting and actual piercing, if you're thinking about a piercing, get educated on it and go to a professional to get it done. Its less painful then you may think. And if you're responsible with it, it'll heal up no problem
I wish I could get mine re-pierced but, my niece accidentally pulled mine out and instead of ripping, the top ball went into the piercing hole, gauging it and ripping the top opening of the piercing beyong repair I had to squeeze for what felt like an eternity to get the ball out of my skin and there's just way too much scar tissue. Wish I had been using magnetic ones back then.

Using these would be bad for you too. One, it would get uncomfortable as it is squishing your skin. Two, the magnets would attract the iron in your blood to that spot which could form a blood clot
