These fights were amazing and probably the best we've seen from this recent series These guys' minds are like lighthing. You could just tell that theyre top level and their constant back and forward was a delight to watch
Before the match started, I thought it was gonna be an easy dub for the bp because this matchup does favor bp a lot. Congrats to zhanhu for making me proud and proving me wrong
Constant feedback from both sides, both pushed their mains movesets to the limit of their brains, adapting with every hit and miss, way to go BP and way to put up a good fight Zhanhu.
This match is definitely one of the best ones to date! Shout out to Immortalem and Aikor and also King Angelus for putting this banger together. I think the important thing to take from this match is how important spacing is not just for offense but defense as well. I loved the adaptation from both sides and honestly that last round could have gone either way.

It’s an unlock tech. It essentially “resets” the fight so u aren’t getting yourself in a disadvantage. Also is good for baiting forward dodge attacks for free punishes.
Resets the pace of the fight if the zhanhu doesn't like how it feels. Zhanhu also has some really good reach on the bash and zone, plus the fast forward dodge attack, so they can usually leverage the space more than BP can. I do the same on Kensei and nobushi since they can abuse range much more than most matchups.

Suggestion: I enjoy this series, but the big open map choice favors assassins. What about the Ranked Map that's neither too big nor too small? It has enough room for an assassin to use their mobility, yet it doesn't inhibit wallsplat heroes from their punishes if they are able to achieve them. That map doesn't favor anyone.
Not a terrible idea but it'd be hard to balance. For instance if it's say ranked sanctuary, heroes like LB would greatly benefit because virtually every parry would lead to a wallsplat. Heroes with stellar throw distance punishes like shaman would also be at an advantage. Normal sanctuary where these fights happen I think is the best. It forces you to use the entirety of a heroes kit. If it were small maps it'd turn into wall splat bait. Which would get old pretty quick

So I keep seeing people talking about new gen. I haven’t played since year 2. Someone said Highlander was old gen. Watching these has rekindled my interest but I wanna know what I’m coming into.

Also just noticed he attacks the same side over and over being extremely predictable, I have more awareness of this kinda stuff and the guy playing bp is disappointing

What makes these kids the #1 best? Just because they have the most wins with a specific hero doesn’t mean they are the best. There’s a thing called a ratio and time played lmao
Most now will be outdated. Ur best bet is go into training with a hero and learn them through experience. Remember feints, focus on not creating patterns, and remember that lights can be parried lol. Think of the game as chess

Bc he's doing brawls so he can spectate real time and not the delay from using the spectate option, therefore you can't used a duel map
