Last Epoch 1.1 Meteor Sorcerer

Put together Snap's sorcerer build in offline mode to see how it plays. This was recorded in patch 1.0.8.5, before the 1.1 buffs. You can find my planners and tier list in my Discord server.

feels good man, i'm gonna play exactly this. Also, fubgun released a version of this build that is a little bit more tailored to single player compared to the one from snap that is a bit more towards multiplayer. basically same build, but the one from fubgun is a bit more tanky and do a bit less damage

Cool build, will definitely build towards it in 1.1. One question; what is it that prevents you from losing all your mana when you trigger the meteors? One "trigger" of the belt should drain around 500 mana, but your mana pool doesn't seem to move that much.

One belt proc costs 82 mana and generates 6 meteors.

looks amazing, what would be the best time to transition in this build? im currently still trying to get to empowered monoliths but i have a glacier sorcorer at lvl 76 and 2lp belt with godroll chance to cast meteor and other almost perfect stats. When should i transition so that i can still continue doing monos and not bricking my build completely? if you need my current stats im following the glacier sorc guide from maxroll but im not running any uniques/legendaries right now except font of the erased with spell dmg and phantom grip with mana regen so basically just mana stacking rings, my gear has only one cold dmg mod other than that its spell, ele dmg and crit stuff and my max mana is currently at 672. will i be ok if i transition right now by just respecing skill tree and equiping the belt or are there other things i need for the build to work?

I'm still playing glacier in empowered monoliths. I heard that you should respec into manual cast meteors once you have 1000 mana, and only swap to cast on crit when you have maybe 1600-1700, but I haven't tested that personally yet.

@@drummerboy1336 i tested the build by just putting in the belt and its doing pretty well without any other changes, mana can be rough if i spam glacier but as long as i kite enemies a bit so they gather up my mana is fine, one more question, why glacier and not 0 mana fireball? I tought mana sustain is easier there alltho i get the easy crit cap with the flat crit on glacier's skill tree

Meteor is cast whenever your other skills crit.

A lot of sorcerers level with glacier as a damage dealer, like in Maxroll's leveling guide. You'd probably swap to this build once you have the unique belt.

The nerfs to ward don't hit this build that hard because sorcerer's getting new passive nodes that grant ward. It's probably ok for HC but it's not really designed for that.

Added necrotic spell damage buffs your damage just as much as added fire spell damage. Marina's lost soul is just a stat stick, and it synergizes with the relic.

@@drummerboy1336 one other thing to mention (which i messed up in the planner) the stardust node on meteor gets a massive more multiplier for damage types that are non-fire.

Casting meteors is addictive man . Last season I played rune master but sorc now is so go. Druid avalanche is looks nice to but sorc is like D&D mage fantasy
