- Today I will show you how I troubleshoot a hisense 32 inch TV and repaired it in just under 16mins.
Now one of the most common faults in a tv motherboard is the bloated capacitors fault but not always is that the only fault. If you encounter a tv that won't work after changing the bloated capacitors then you can proceed to opening the tv screen and checking the backlights with a backlights tester.
TVs have particular checkpoint voltages necessary for them to function and i will list the voltages here so it will be easy for anyone to diagnose a faulty motherboard themselves by just watching my videos.
The first check point is the 220/ 110 AC Voltages at the power input.
The next voltage to check is the 300+ DC voltage at the mail filter capacitor (Large Capacitor).
The next voltage should be the output voltages from the main transformer which is divided to the main 12v standby which also works with image and 38volts for backlights depending on the circuit type and tv model.
After that we have the 5.1 volts, 1.8 volts and 3.3 volts which are required for powering the processor chip, the image and the image quality and EEPROM.
For any other questions you can leave a comment and i will get back to you in due time.
