This is the best version of Ryusei's theme, actually. Beats out the OG2 and console versions. This one just seems to have a driving force behind it where as the others seem to move along kind of slowly.
Imagine my pain at discovering that this game and its sequel were the only games in the franchise released in North America..... SRW 30 isn't the same as this.
Might be an old comment to reply to, but for the record, SRW J was made in late 2005 (many months after OG 2 even) and was the last of the GBA SRWs. GBA OG came out in 2002... So yeah, if one plays the series by GBA sprite animation innovation, definitely don't start with J.
kamille bidan is ryusei date. the wildraubiter is the zeta gundam. both characters got their home bases wrecked when they freaked out during an enemy missile strike. both got giant robots in the first place because robot games were their past-time at school. both robots are transforming jets. it's to the point i can't even comprehend why kamille bidan was ever an srw character, even in japan. also, the three of us, despite two of us being entirely fictitious, are eerily similar people. me, the real life kameron donaldson/mysticvortex13, kamille bidan, and ryusei date.
Shin Jhawar Yeah, I haven't finished Generations 1 yet but about halfway through I think and will definitely give the sequel a try too. Shame that the console ports never got out over here.
Atlus would have benefited immensely from the PS2 game. I suppose sales for the GBA game were just underhwelming considering it was released late in the GBA's life. It's also possible they didn't want to translate the game for the aging PS2. On the bright side, the newest OG game has an English release in Asia, so who knows where that goes from there.

The main reason why I pick this version over the rest is because I can hear 0:19 - 0:43 loud and clear.
