    The brand matrix is such a good fucking idea. It's dual-use - specific enough to be functionally useful for designers AND simple enough that you can show clients who don't necisarily know what "wordmark" may mean. A++ visualization

      I use adobe XD for things like the brand guidelines documents and generally presentations. (Keynote too if I know non native designers need to I put content) In years gone by I’d use InDesign or even illustrator but I found that XD handles vector work very well and made things super quick for me

    Nice video but I noticed that all your designs are in RGB color mode even though you said that logo is gonna be also used for print. I'm curious about how you define CMYK colors for print. Do you only convert RGB to CMYK, asking because the CMYK color gamut is very small in contrast to RGB and purple is not so vivid. Can you explain this a little bit? Tnx

    • @sketchymedia
      @sketchymedia  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Great spot - so we actually run colours a few ways, mainly we use a Pantone for purple accurate colours when we do print reproduction, but in some cases where Pantone isn’t available we have a CYMK equivalent (nearest neighbour) but also manage a hex for digital. To be honest we picked purple and green which are literally the hardest colours to manage and deal with across multiple formats hence why we manage it in a few different ways
