Hi Brother I put 4 x 6800 50v capacitors . There is good spark . I used a homemade brass electrode but the electrode itself is getting welded with nickel strip and the two strips is not getting welded at all .please help where the problem is coming.

I use machine for just 1 min. Then my one of the capacitor ( 4700uf 50v ) get explode. When I touch it, it was extremely hot. What's the problem bro ?????
I don´t know, this is dodgy at best. Just cobble together some crap from the parts bin with no further informaton isn´t gonna cut it for me. I´d like my spot welder with a switch at least...
I am using fixed 12 V 6-AMP it has two out put wires, Multimeter is showing 18.36 volts just like the video, I have installed everything according to the manual but spark is very small it's not working I have also attached the button according to your instructions but all in vain it's not welding the nickel strip. Should I use any other capacitor like motor car DC capacitor

First press electrodes then on transformer for a short time, u have to use a switch on main side
try to use a harder material for the electrode .... like steel which has a higher melting point

Also it provides high sparking but no welding.
Use 10A diode & use a push button on main side first press probes then press and release button very quickly this will make neat welding without spark

Add a switch in main side of transformer, first press then on switch for short time it will weld nicely. 4 capacitors enough

On AC main side
Replace the secondary wire with thik/multiple good wires together 1/2 round. You will get at least 10amp
