Gibbons v Proctor (@ 2:14) is this the right case for Criminal Law (murder and manslaughter)? was doing some research on it and it came up for contract law in offer and acceptance. I think the appropriate case is R v Gibbins and Proctor. I stand corrected
+nicnax nat Many thanks for the feedback and pointing that out. You are correct. I have annotated the correction, it is in fact R v Gibbins and Proctor :)
What is the difference between commission and omission in my UoL textbook it describes commission as those crimes whose result component can be caused by doing NOTHING, but how is this possible?
Hi. A 'commission' is where a particular act is criminalized and if you do such an act, you'll be charged. An 'omission' relates to actions which are deemed necessary and you are charged for NOT doing it.
They are omitting beacuse it’s not in their best interests to show the public their ignorance and error. Then they tried to cover it up by false accusations false arrests intimidation and now physical harm putting in the way the very repulsive people that cause the harm and abuse of the loophole with asett forfeiture- if I’ve committed no crime I shroud not be loosing my belongings or vehicles for years now!!!
im starting law in September and I honestly have no idea what half the words im reading mean so thank you
