It’s to show how it’s now unimaginably annoyed now. We refused to join it. We made it bleed. It knows we know how to hurt it. It also knows it must enact the final shape immediately as we will be coming for it in its monolith very soon. It’s done with the show of power now it just wants us dead
ah so the thematics of The Witness are now laid bare, in his arena, there is a Hansa Hand, and his "final form" is very clearly a Hindu God in nature, Shiva I suppose, as they seek to destroy all reality and turn it into a still nothingness.
It showed that the light can sever its focus and connection to things because of the fact its wounded. As soon as crow hit him, it caused his consciousness to waver or stutter in a sense. Hence why we were able to cut him off from being rooted in the traveler in the raid
@@simplyprime117 ok that’s fair but at the same time the writers gave no indication that was the case, they just showed the ship flying away. I’m not saying you need much but just a sentence of explanation would work to clear this plot hole
@@irishbananamafia9728 I understand but like this was a scene where they were running for their lives, not really a time to say, "this happened because if this". Ikora says at the beginning, its wounded, so they're trying to do more of a show dont tell situation and to be fair its literally showing us visually that the moment he was cut he let go
@@simplyprime117 that’s true. Maybe instead they could’ve added a bit more to the scene so it makes sense. Maybe at the beginning when the witness stopped the ship it could’ve started bringing the ship down and at that point the vanguard could’ve attacked the witness and hit its wound, breaking it’s concentration enough for the ship to escape. And at that point the witness would get pissed off and begin chasing the vandguard. It’s not much but I feel like that would’ve been better than just letting the ship go
fire af cutscene ngl, i loved him losing patience with everything
the contacting destiny servers at the beginning is hilarious
The final shape was the servers all along

HE BLEEDS!!!!
If it bleeds, we can kill it.
Tell me Witness… do you bleed?
You will.
By the nine he’s tweaking
0:45 theres something just so creppy with how fast he turns his head here. You always see him move so slowly and methodically

Wow!! Great analogy!
Shiva, and now i have become death, the destroyer of worlds.
Straight up Shiva. The destroyer of worlds
Someone gets it 😎 Also Kali like
