Over time u may get feb up of it so u wanna sell it. Plus people are way more likely to buy New in the box still then a second hand out.. DUH
I've kept my pops in the box and I never plan to sell. It's just easier to store them by stacking vs having them loose. Also the boxes have nice artwork a lot of the times.
Funko's are mostly pointless lumps of expensive plastic anyway. It's not like their toys for kids or really serve a purpose other than being a nice shelf ornament. Saying that. I have 5. lol
Well they are collectables and also Funko pops can go up in price any time and they can go down in price any time I have 7 pop vinyls and all of them are out of the box (I chucked out the boxes) and I regret that deeply now lmao cause if one of my Funko pops are rare they go down in price by %70
I love Funko POPs. I take them out of the box, after purchase, but I don’t have enough space to display them all. So I have them in their boxes to stack them. But I take them in and out as I please and always have several out at a time. I don’t care if their values are reduced, because I’m not interested in reselling. And this is coming from a fanatic who owns well over fifty.
Well you just changed my mind about my funko pop collection. Awesome job explaining your reasoning. And I was also thinking that I've missed out on so many funko pops cause I was always looking for ones with great boxes and been a few times I've wanted a certain funko and found one but didn't get it cause the box was damaged or it was out of its box. Actually can't wait to sent them up properly now.
It's their own collections, they can decide what they do with them I keep mine all in box cause I think they look better in box so don't tell people how they should display their pops
There are two kinds of funko pop collectors: The overexcited child who destroys boxes and wants to “play” with there pops And... The real pop collector who stacks the pops neatly in their boxes on a shelf to sit and look awesome and neat
I keep mine In the box on the shelf becuse it’s easier for me and so I don’t have to worry about loosing/breaking something but there is once in a while where I do take them out of the box just to get a close look at them but I put them back in there box but yeah for the most part I keep them in there box (but I don’t really care what people do with there funko pops I mean it’s there collection not mine so yeah👍🏻👍🏻)
Nah! I agree with this guy n the video! They are supposed to be decorative,no point of having them in the box! there ar enot bars of gold peopel, relax! I just don't destoy the very well-made boxes though, cause I may get bored of them and want to sell them!..
He says that it's better to take your pops out of the box right, so your telling me I should take my hand singed gabriel "fluffy" iglesias out of the box which I remind you is the first ever comedian pop.
It’s not like you’re gonna keep him forever he’s gonna end up in a dam garage or somewhere where you’re gonna forget about him not only that but you could end up selling him do double of what a normal signed pop is 🤦🏻♂️and don’t come up with an excuse about keeping him he’s gonna get sold just like every other collectors that end up either in financial problems or just don’t want them anymore
i have 150 pops, my collection is worth $2,400. i have them all out of box displayed in 11 baseball bat display cases hanging on my wall. i enjoy it way more than having them boxed up somewhere. I have over a dozen pops that are worth more than $50 and although I keep my boxes, I have no intent to sell.
Nobody “plays” with pops.. they’re collector items and in the end the value is what will matter since oob you only get like 25% of in box value. Future you will regret it
I disagree because 1 It's their collection and he isn't doing anything bad with them. And 2 He can play with them if he wants, to me it feels like a waste to just keep them in the box and only stare at them.
I honestly just found this video because I was curious if Funkos actually had things in their heads, now I see you’re that guy who I keep seeing and, Honestly keep doing you bro I agree they are worth more when you get to use them for something, i don’t have any of my childhood Trading cards, because i enjoyed them, used them, traded, and even purposely destroyed a few and I value those moments more then I would a mint card if I still had it today
You are saying that u make money from Tiktok so it doesn’t make different for u ( you destroy pop on tiktok and make money ) ( other people keep there pop in the pox and make money ) and there is people don’t care they just love to have pop with the box and without the box
I have everything Chucky and everything Pennywise / IT - all mint in box. Sometimes I even "double dip" and grab the same funko if there is an error on the other box, such as "eye color". It's just how I role. I respect all other collector's choices.

@@liluzibob because you dont even watch the video you just dislike it because the person has a different opinion
dude it's better to keep in the box.. why? Are u gonna play with them? No, Would u sell one if someone offered you a lot of money ? Yes.
They look better in the box or out. It don't matter.
Collectors value is why I keep them in the box
Funko's are mostly pointless lumps of expensive plastic anyway. It's not like their toys for kids or really serve a purpose other than being a nice shelf ornament.
Saying that. I have 5. lol
Well they are collectables and also Funko pops can go up in price any time and they can go down in price any time I have 7 pop vinyls and all of them are out of the box (I chucked out the boxes) and I regret that deeply now lmao cause if one of my Funko pops are rare they go down in price by %70
@@h98974 This was funny
@@Owen-ub3fv what is funny?
I love Funko POPs. I take them out of the box, after purchase, but I don’t have enough space to display them all.
So I have them in their boxes to stack them. But I take them in and out as I please and always have several out at a time. I don’t care if their values are reduced, because I’m not interested in reselling.
And this is coming from a fanatic who owns well over fifty.
You have just solidified my "non-regretful" decision to free my funkos from their boxes.
Don’t come crying to me when you have a $100 pop and sell for $10
I've sold a completely broken and cut up pop for 70. I don't see the problem here
@@papifunko what was it
It's their own collections, they can decide what they do with them I keep mine all in box cause I think they look better in box so don't tell people how they should display their pops
agreed
Innit
I like seeing peoples collection out of the box and being able to pick them up.
You do you... I keep them in the box since I have limited space but even then doing stuff for views or "entertainment" gives me toy story vibes 😕
Video summary. Soy Boy can't handle people making their own choices on how to display Funkos.
I’ve never cringed more in my life
My man… you are a sick man.
Some pops are top heavy, so if they were taken out, they would fall over and get damaged
Now do t get me wrong it doesn’t bother me if people destroy their pops because that’s just going to make mine more valuable 😂
What does it matter if someone wants to keep it in their box let them they bought it You're nobody to give your opinion lmao
I personally keep them in to protect them from breaking and I can always take them out if I want to play with them
There are two kinds of funko pop collectors:
The overexcited child who destroys boxes and wants to “play” with there pops
And...
The real pop collector who stacks the pops neatly in their boxes on a shelf to sit and look awesome and neat
I take them out and make nice scenes with them and out the boxes at the back.
Well I guess there are three then
I keep mine In the box on the shelf becuse it’s easier for me and so I don’t have to worry about loosing/breaking something but there is once in a while where I do take them out of the box just to get a close look at them but I put them back in there box but yeah for the most part I keep them in there box (but I don’t really care what people do with there funko pops I mean it’s there collection not mine so yeah👍🏻👍🏻)
Nah! I agree with this guy n the video!
They are supposed to be decorative,no point of having them in the box! there ar enot bars of gold peopel, relax!
I just don't destoy the very well-made boxes though, cause I may get bored of them and want to sell them!..
For real! Some people act as if they turn to dust when you take them out
I love the collectible side of it
He says that it's better to take your pops out of the box right, so your telling me I should take my hand singed gabriel "fluffy" iglesias out of the box which I remind you is the first ever comedian pop.
Yes
And for what? You aint gonna play with it like the 4 year old would 😂
Obviously not but regular ones yeah
"That's why I cut open SSG Goku"...😂 the man is dangerous when he is curious
in his most recent video he says "the only place where there are no rules to collecting" yet keeps this video up
Better yet, stop buying funko pops all together and but actual high quality figures instead.
I keep mine in the box, gf takes hers out.
With inboxes collection of 100 pops staring at me triggers me SO HARD
I want to take it out of my box but I can’t. I don’t have room. I am building a shelf soon.
How many do u have
@@franciscolopez1450 13
I honestly just found this video because I was curious if Funkos actually had things in their heads, now I see you’re that guy who I keep seeing and, Honestly keep doing you bro I agree they are worth more when you get to use them for something, i don’t have any of my childhood Trading cards, because i enjoyed them, used them, traded, and even purposely destroyed a few and I value those moments more then I would a mint card if I still had it today
Notice how he has a funko pop in the box
The art of the box with the Funko inside just looks better to me
You are saying that u make money from Tiktok so it doesn’t make different for u ( you destroy pop on tiktok and make money ) ( other people keep there pop in the pox and make money ) and there is people don’t care they just love to have pop with the box and without the box
And not all of us are content creators too 😂
I have everything Chucky and everything Pennywise / IT - all mint in box. Sometimes I even "double dip" and grab the same funko if there is an error on the other box, such as "eye color". It's just how I role. I respect all other collector's choices.
