- Dyeing my hair pink, I'm so excited to do a review on the new Arctic Fox Frose. Pink is one of my favourite hair colours to have so I'm so here for this colour change. Watch the video to find out what I think about this colour and the issues I've had with it.

I use a teaspoon amount of virgin pink in my froze and only wash my hair once a week in cold water it works amazing 👸🏼

Arctic fox virgin pink + porange + conditioner to dilute makes practically the same color as frose but waaaaaaay more staying power. It’s my fav pink. I’ve had it last on my hair over 6 weeks! And the bottles last longer since you’re not using it full strength.
What ratio do you use of the pink and porange? Ty!
@@Angrykitty82 Gee, I guess I never thought about it. I start with the pink and add just enough porange to make a nice salmon/coral color, maybe 4:1 ratio, maybe less? I would definitely err on the side of it being too pink rather than too orange! Once I get that shade I like I add the conditioner to dilute to however strong or weak I want the color. My hair is a golden blonde so that shifts the end result a bit too, leaning the pink blend in the bowl more towards a rose gold end result. If you are platinum blonde you're going to get more of the authentic color in the bowl.
I was gonna mix frose and sunset orange like 80/20 and then dilute it, would that be similar?
@@Stumbelina1989 I bet that would be similar. I'd start with the pink and add small amounts of the orange until you get what you want.

I feel that you should have gone for a darker pink that way as you wash it out it fades to a baby pink and lasts longer.

I found that it doesn't fade very evenly so it looks weird
How long does the pink last, and when it fades are you blonde again or left residual pink?
It lasted me 3 washes :/

3 washes :( I got mine done at the salon and it was so pretty but literally with 3 washes it went away so I’m just gonna re-dye it myself tomorrow
Use a pink conditioner (lime crime makes one) and co wash between shampoos instead of using shampoo every time you wash your hair! It will make the pink last 💗

This is the color I am going to get this weekend. I like that it washes out quick. I was my hair once sometimes two times a week. I like how it turned out.

love arctic fox too! I've used a few of their colours before and the pigment and colour pay off is amazing
try a combination of arctic fox electric peach and porange and mix with a diluted to make a pretty peachy pink, i love it, but haven’t ever been able to make it pastel enough but maybe u would be able to since u seem to have more hair knowledge ahah!!!
With arctic fox you need to throughly saturate all over to have it more even.

I used aquamarine by Arctic Fox and my hair is BLUE, like seriously BLUE BLUE! lol and it's been a while and has not faded at all! So maybe try that one :)

If you add like 1 or 2 drops of Arctic Fox Ritual to the Frose it lasts longer.

Highly Recommend the Good Dye Young Brand, its been my go to for a year and half now. In Canada you can find it in most any Sallys or Sephora online.

Live XXL Lightner and twist in rose is such a long-lasting pink colour and it goes on deep pink at first and then fades to a really pretty pastel i would recommend it is also a permanent dye and lasts for months!!

Would you try the “Overtone” brand review, it’s a color depositing conditioner
I've enjoyed overtone, it lasts a while and can be reapplied for refreshers

This is the pink I want for my hair. My hair dresser just had a baby so that’s out for a few months 😂 I’ve literally never done my own hair, so any advice is great. I have long hair- it’s pretty blonde on its own bleaching scares me 😂 I like how it washes out but does it really only last 3 washes?
If ur hair is alr blonde then I’d recommend diluting the bleach for example- (bleach+developer obvi/conditioner/shampoo and this is optional water) to dilute the bleach that’s what u would cal a bleach bath which I think would be good for u since ur a beginner and ur hair is alr blonde.

I actually think it would look pretty on sandy blonde hair! It would come out like more of a rose gold, so if you are cool with that I would go for it 😃💖

Color lux color depositing cleansing conditioner, highly recommend any color but the Blush or Rose Gold would be a great in between in the shower to extend your color!

If you want to have pink hair or any color for 3 months+ buy Iroiro. It's my fav hair dye. I wash my hair once a week. And even after 3 months the colors are still vivid! If you don't want ur hair dye to last that long don't buy Iroiro bc it's hard to wash off ur hair. It would probably take like 6 months for the color to fade on its own lol.

Tried their pink hair dye and it did NOT stick to my hair at all and my hair was a really platinum blonde that has never happened to me with other dyes it sucks!
Wendy Gil oh my gosh I’m sorry you had that experience!! I hope you find another brand that works for your hair! I know ion is a more affordable brand so maybe that had something to do with it. I heard a really good brand to try is IRO IRO. My hairdresser friend says that brand lasts a long time and is good.
Idk if they have a pastel color though like ions flamingo and AF frosè. It’s always easy to dilute them with white cream conditioners!
I use hot hot pink from manic panic you dilute with conditioner I’ve tried virgin pink by the line your using but it turned my hair burgundy/red/purple tones not what I expected from a pink.
Overtone’s pastel pink comes out way better than this try it out please! You’ll love it
Virgin pink by arctic fox is beautiful neon pink by iroiro is really good too but its a BRIGHT A$$ PINK like glow under a blacklight pink

Manic panic hot hot pink is amazing. My favorite. It's extremely pigmented and lasts a long time.
Pastel colors fade fast. It doesn’t matter that brand. Some would hold up better then others but it’s just the nature of the beast. The best you can do is wash your hair less frequently. Don’t bother with washing your hair in cold water. It’s agonizing, doesn’t make much of a difference and you’re not properly washing your hair. You can however condition as you normally would and then apply this dye in the shower. Let it sit and rinse it out to refresh it. Also use heat protection when styling your hair. Heat will make colors fade more. So no going over a stand of hair 5000 times when you should only need to do one pass with a straightener for example
That’s my best advice. Wash your hair less often. Use the dye as a hair mask (that’s basically what it is anyways). Protect your hair from heating tools. And don’t spend as much time as you need to while styling you hair with heating tools

Ive used frose and it didn't do jack all, i couldn't get my hair completely even tho since i had highlights/balayage before that and didn't want to pick through little pieces to get them bleached more. I opted for electric paradise and it came out so bright and pretty. I swear frose is just a diluted electric paradise.

hi!! i have a question, i hope you see this bc i had the same dilemma with the roots!! i left my roots a darker more yellow blonde and hated the way it turned out! how long did you leave the bleach when you fixed your roots?
also i tried to remove color from my hair with baking soda, developer, shampoo, and dish soap and it turned my lighter blonde ends like an ugly light turquoise blue :( i’m gonna be dying my hair pale turquoise though so i’m wondering if i should keep trying to get it blonde or just dye over it? idk if it’ll looks super patchy if i leave it
I think I left the bleach for maybe 10 min not too long.
it really depends, if it is similar to the turquoise colour you are trying to do I would just leave it just so you don't risk damaging your hair more. Did you end up colouring your hair, how did it turn out?
Looks lovely on you, too bad it's so uneven :( . Was doing some research because I was considering dying my hair with frose and I'm starting from the same shade of blonde as you were. A little disappointed because of how patchy it is even though your hair didn't seem to have that much difference going on

Iroiro is amazing
My favorite pink is Fucshia Fatale by Raw. It lasts forever and is super vibrant! The color you have, however, looks beautiful.

iroiro is the goat. Saturated color for at least 2 months. No joke. Semi permanent.

@@JannaNiki I think so but I cant remember 😅 but the pigment is insane, it fades very slowly and very pretty. Its so nice I always recommend it. Sally's sells it or you can go to their website!! If you want your hair to last longer I would 100% try them. But ik some beauty content makers want the fast fading so they can make more hair dying videos. The iroiro will give you solid color for 2 months. 😁
should you wash your hair or leave it dirty with temporary dye?
I've seen many other places that you should shampoo (and not condition) before dyeing with arctic fox. Let it dry completely and don't put products in. Then dye it and rinse out with cold water
If I have light brown hair will it turn out bad
It most likely won’t show up on light brown hair. You need to have at least a level 8 blonde for it to show. If you go to the arctic fox website and look up this color it shows how it might turn out on different colors of hair!

I ♥ it ^^ such a cute color but isn't Virgin Pink shade better? If you mix Virgin Pink with a cheap conditioner, you save so much more dye left and I think despite Frose being the exact pastel shade we want, Virgin Pink is more practical.
I've heard so many people say that! I think a diluted virgin pink might be the way to go, I haven't tried that one yet

Arctic Fox has a much more vibrant pink that sticks more! You can dilute it for a similar shade.

i always use lime crime bubblegum rose (i think that the name) but i mixed it w pony and got a beautiful magenta color 🥺
From what I learned you get a hair mask conditioner. And you put a few drops of dye into the conditioner and then apply
Love this color new viewer. It is a very light pastel pink. Use cold water and don’t wash your hair more than 1x a week. That will help. Look into overtone to keep it pink.

Vera Kiona electric paradise fully stained my hair for months.
it honestly disappears, this won't stain your hair at all don't worry. The only thing is it can effect the tone of your hair, so you might find that your blonde looks a bit more brassy than it was before but you can just cancel that out with some purple shampoo. I'm talking about the Frose specifically, the other colours might effect your hair differently.

I would get the darker pink and if anything you can dilute it with some conditioner to make it a lighter pink

I'm actually dying to dye my hair in pink pastel with a mixer of 2 artic fox's hair dye(because I saw reviews that frosè by itself doesn't last long) I don't know which 2 to buy!

if you want more of a cotton candy pastel pink I would do frose and/or a diluted virgin pink. But if you want a very light pink you may need to lighten your hair a little bit more, pastels work best on bleach blond hair. On your golden hair you will probably get a really pretty medium rose pink :)
