Chase Garvey was a convicted violent felon who was not allowed to own guns. He obviously obtained, carried and used the gun in an illegal manner. He also had a history with the people at the party and his motive was personal.
These are the "Last" of the "Last Days" Matthew 24:3-14. Jesus said it would be this way during the time of his "Presence" and the "Conclusion" of this system of things. He compared this time period to the days of Noah (Matthew 24:37). Why? Just as it was in Noah's day the earth is filled with "Violence." Compare Genesis 6:11-13. These things are going on all across the earth and things are going from bad to worse. Seek God and his righteousness, seek meekness, seek Gods Kingdom while there is still time. Zephaniah 2:3.
