You could also perhaps put a big tire and tube on that 5x4ish 'joined up' dual motor hub... 11x4-5 should fit and are widely available! Top work JC... thanks for sharing!
Hmm not a bad idea for an ebike direct drive because one motor is a little week but that there with that perfect little valley in the middle. How about drive equalization how do you know if one motor is fighting the other??
Nice Build. What controller did you use ? and how did you connect to the hall wires ? I am trying with a similar project but Hall wires are functioning sometimes but sometimes not.. any clue ?
It happening also to me before. There a time that it doesn't work. Keep trying by disconnecting and connecting the hall sensor be short that the two wheel are same rotation. It's not the controller is the problem but the way you connected it. Remember that the two motor work without hall sensor.
First thing i do is i put glue on it and roll then in a flat surface to level them properly and wait until the glue is already dry. Then drill it while attach to each other. I thing i use M3 12mm screws. Vibration is normal due to the solid tires that was mounted. Thanks for watching!
@ nice idea. I thought also to create a go car oneday using hoverboard wheels

@@jayceepaligutan4904 check my channel. I build one with 4 hoverboard wheels. Top speed about 20 miles an hour. (Build for my 3 years old daughter. She drives it like a pro) Mine is able to tow a 1300kg station car. Just bought the new original go kart frame haha
It's better to use two contoller with separat battere if you can you can you one battery and one controller but you have to fix the two motor well. Conecting the wire for example blue is connected blue then yellow to green. Because the rotation of two motor is not the esame. I use normal controller for electric scooter.
il senso di rotazione è inverso in 1 delle 2 ruote e la centralina con il senso di rotazione invertito (retromarcia) non credo erogherà la stessa potenza della marcia in avanti

Looks like you're building Johnny five from scratch
Music is annoying
I'd like to see this working because won't they effectively need to spin in opposite directions?

So I would be able to hook up dual motors to one controller? Does the controller have to be brushless when hooking it up dual?
Onewheel up and coming 😂
Nice done. How did you line them up perfect.
No vibrations when using in full speed ?

this is my first project
man how did you center the hubs i am building a onewheel out of these motors but i cant seem to get them centerd for the drill
maybe find someone with a lathe

Nice job :). Have you measured what speed you can achieve before and after this rework?
This motor is literally fix to maximum speed of 25. With 36v
Maximum speed is base to what battery you can put on it. And also to the controller your using

Any voltage controller will work on hoverboard motors?
