1981: day 1;3 sets green utilities,1 3 pack white t-shirts, 1 pack jockeys,belt,black boots,black socks. Day 16 : blue suits,1 more set utilites,black low quarters,pilot shirts. You forgot the DUFFEL BAG!
@@benaferhc5 back in 1980, when I was a cop, those patent leather shoes were called Corframs. Cops who wore those were considered to be lazy and looked down upon by other cops. We were encouraged to buy jump boots and got a $50 or so allowance to buy them. I do like the idea of the lightweight jacket - back then you could wear a windbreaker or a heavy woolen sweater. Maybe the best change in those 40 years is that sentries are wearing body armor. Back in the more peaceful times, you were considered paranoid if you wore them. In squadron of 500 cops, I had to borrow a bullet resistant vest from another guy to do a protection detail. The squadron just in have body armor
@@Forensource yeah now plates are a requirement! Crazy now the only ones I have seen wearing boots are special warfare. Now it's just the dress shoes for us
I would like to see the USAF return to the 1505s and the same color blue pant and shirt as alternative dress uniforms.

Do they still issue A-2 leather bomber jackets for crew members and pilots in 2022
Honestly couldn’t tell you I’m not a pilot or crew member
As a soon-to-be US Airman, will all those uniforms come out of my military paycheck during BMT?
Did you ever get issued one of those military 'all weather' coats?
They're issuing patent leather dress shoes ?
Yeah!
