When we was 8-3 last year, it was because our defense had to keep bailing out our offense and this year just seems like it’s the same issue

Trevor Lawrence is average call a spade a spade give too much lead way to Trevor, elite QBs will their team to victory , if josh Allen can do it with basically a whole new team no excuses for Trevor, only fan base make excuses instead of demanding better
Josh Allen is elite Qb not just at throwing but running. They also have one of the best olines and they can run the ball. Has a def that turns over the ball. In the game against the dolphins he had 132 passing yds. They won 31-10 i blame this on the front office like Fortner was not the only week link on this line. LT and RG are bad
He’s good. He just needs to have quicker passes and get his receivers more involved early. I wish Cleveland had a quarterback like him. Big arm and can scramble

The o-line and coaching are at the bottom of league. Dfense is average. There is not one legitimate probowler on the entire team. John allen hasn’t done much in first few games. Punter, kicker way below average. Best teams have best olines. Jags oline awful
I admire Jags fans for having Trevor's back. I hope he turns out to be that guy but i dont think hes more than a game manager. When i heard bortles put up better numbers 50 games in thats enough of a sign for me.
As the HOF said “if you can’t protect the QB and win in the trenches, then you have no chance”. The problem is the o-line has been worse than last year so far. The offense is too predictable. Defenses know what they are running. The coaching staff is wasting Trevor’s talent and getting him killed back there.
Ownership wrote out some big checks, but none of those checks were along the o-line.
Anyone that tried to blame Trevor, just doesn’t know football. All they do is look at stats and make their determination. He’s made a few bad throws, but this shit is not because of him.
yeah whats shocking is there are some teams around the league that have o line problems but are missing one or two starters through injury and have backups in playing like the browns did. The jags have ALL their starters in are absolutely shocking in the run game, pass game and overall blocking like how did they not realize this end of last season and only made changes at center??!

Everyone stays trying to use the one example of a QB going to the SB with a bad line lol. One time!! What nobody wants to say, though is that his offensive line at least provided a running game and he was throwing to Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. People miss me with that bullshit.

Hopefully Jags can move on from two bad weeks now, both games they remembered in the 3rd and 4th quarter that these aren’t exhibitions. Start with buff then dominate the division rivals.
I’m a Browns Fan living in Florida, I went to the game and just wanted to say that Jax will be ok, they had many chances to win that game. I blame the offensive coordinator, why aren’t you feeding the ball more to Brian Thomas JR? This guy is going to be their best player. Only had 2 catches. Their Defense is solid, and their O-line wasn’t winning the battle. Overall I don’t think people should panic. It’s early. Jacksonville had the talent. They have the pieces.
Jacksonville is filled with a ton of fairweather fans who don't know football but love to scream blame with zero knowledge of the sport. It's absolutely insane ; They're actually called for Lawrence to be benched and for Mac to start. They don't understand how awful that would be lmao.

This has been, for the most part, a problem for 2 decades. Every year, it's "We need to change the culture.
My finger is pointed first at Trent Baalke. He hasn't done much in improving one of the worst o-line.
2 Press Taylor - he sucked in Philly and sucks here. No creativeness, no fire, just a vanilla offense.
3 Doug Peterson - it's his job to get everyone ready to play, install a game plan and make sure his coaches do their jobs. (See Press)
If we don't come back and make not just the playoffs, but at least the 2nd round they need to clean house and fire every one especially Baalke the 🤡

@@C4S911 If you drive a Honda it will never be a Lamborghini. The OL is what it is!!! In the NFL, Trevor has never had a good or great OL or team around him. Trevor was beat up last season because of the OL. His injuries: Knee Bruise, Pedal Ankle (high) Sprain Grade 3, Head Cranial Concussion Grade 1, Shoulder A/C Joint Sprain. That's unacceptable and screws with your head as a QB. Trevor needs to be with a better Team. I have lost all faith in the Jaguars organization. No matter what coach, players they get, even when they win they still never look like a good team and never have. They always look like they are just getting by.
@@CVP100 I’m over this team as well. I agree with you on the OL part. On the flip side a $55 Mill dollar number 1 pick QB should be able to UPLIFT his team and be better. Joe Burrow and Andrew Luck did it with sup par OL for a while.
Worst move was Trevon Walker. Completely destroyed this team. Could have traded pick for 2 potentially starters. 1st pick in draft is below average at best. Huge mistake. Just cant miss out on a pick like that. Number 1 pick has got to be a Miles Garrett, Chris Jones type of pick. IMO

The problem is the QB and scheme. Coaching staff knows it but doesn't know how to navigate around his limitations so instead they've gone vanilla as all heck.
Classic example of why bad franchises perpetually stay in the mud, overreacting to the slightest bit of good fortune (Playoff win against Staley) and now they're handcuffed to a mid QB on a mega deal for the foreseeable future.

Since it wasn’t addressed on the podcast I’m going to say it: Trevor Lawrence is inconsistent as hell and has been for quite some time. It’s time to stop making excuses for this guy. He was just paid a boat load of cash based strictly off of what he could POTENTIALLY do. He doesn’t look like he takes total command of the offense and optimize all of his tools consistently. Just two games in, he’s looking overpaid as hell.

I’ve come to the conclusion that Trevor Lawrence is average. He’s not a qb that can rise about it all and play above the mediocre. When things go bad he looks mediocre. I’ve tempered my expectations on him. Clock management, holds the ball too long, over throws, bad decisions. He’s not bad he’s just average. I’ll settle for average. Doug is bad and Press is bad. It doesn’t matter anymore

@Duuuval23 There are two comments one that his body language went with his play which was terrible. This is a reflection of his leadership which even Bucky has mentioned in the past they he would like to see something different. I do not think he is a good leader. One of my degrees is in leadership and I currently work in a leadership position so I might have a little insight. Also others last year have mentioned his leadership style saying that he needs to do more. So it is not just me. Lastly was my comment about his pay. They should have waited to pay him and make him prove it for a year. Several former players, scouts and analysts agree. It get it your hurt but you have your opinion and I have mine. Let’s watch this year and see who is right.
