Tekken 3 is my favorite fighting game of all time, the music, characters, Endings, humor, and fighting controllers. Amazing review, just found your channel from Skullgirdle. subbed, and enjoying all your videos ^-^
Hi there, Decadent. I stumbled upon your channel looking for a review of BloodRayne 2, which I found super cheap on Ebay. I am an avid gamer and I tend to watch reviews of games before I make a purchase. I'm not really into older games, but your review was most impressive. I tend to watch reviewers that give technical information and add a bit of humor. My fav is ACG. Excellent review here! You provide tons of information. In visiting your channel I was only disappointed to see so little content. You are very good at this. I do hope you carry forward. Anyway, just wanted to give you some positive feedback. I am very picky about my reviewers. Gonna go check out the rest of your stuff. Please keep up the good work and thanks for posting!
+fuseman911 Thank you, it's nice to know someone is enjoying my content. I may not be as funny as Jontron or Caddicarus or as technological as The RetroReplay but I do try my best. And no need to worry, I still have more reviews and top 10s coming soon! As for my other videos, I warn you, the first few of them aren't the best... lol
Kinda lol Caddicarus was the only youtuber I saw who actually gave a full in depth look at the tekken. Games and inspired me to do the same. Though I'm just not naturally funny like he is so my jokes or my attempts at comedy can be pretty bad lol
Tekken 3 is a great game, and definitely deserved the hype it had gotten. That and Tekken 2. However, there's an error with what you said what happened to Jun. Katsuhiro Harada had confirmed that the head Orge had in his head was not Jun's, and that she was Missing. So, it leaves speculation that she could still be alive.
+Snapshot Tiger Well at the time before Tekken Tag 2 came out ,they really were going with her being dead. Because Jun had so many fans and they were unsatisfied with Asuka, Harada changed that story bit when Jun was revealed for Tekken Tag 2. The hype for her was just big and I guess they didn't realize just how popular she was.
While I think 5 is the best in the franchise, 3 definitely deserves to be called one of the best. Tekken 4 was the first in the series that I played and I enjoyed it for what it was. It definitely had the best mini-game in the series! I didn't even play the first three Tekken games until Tekken 5 came out thanks to the Arcade History mode it had.
Haha the only character I can play through Tekken Force mode honestly without spamming much is Nina but that's mainly because she's my main lol Yeah, just spam a character's move and you should get through it in no time lol
I'm aware of that but he only said that AFTER Tekken Tag 2 came out. I remember back in the day around 2001-2004 when I was really getting into the internet while being obsessed with Tekken, I came acroos a 1999 interview/Q&A that featured Harada and he was asked if Jun would ever return and he said that she was dead by Ogre's hand and that also Unknown was not Jun. Keep in mind, this was a long time ago and obviously he retcon it many years later but at the time, that was what was going on with the story.
@@mksm8051 I'm not surprised because it was so long ago during the earlier days of the internet before TH-cam was even a thing and Angelfire was very popular lol But I personally believe that Harada changed her story when he saw that the fans didn't care much for Asuka who was supposed to replace Jun as the Kazama Arts style fighter. While at the time he didn't outright say it, I could put two and two together because before Tekken 5, on early game forum boards Jun was a popular topic with Tekken and I'm sure Harada knew about it and then when Tekken 5 came out, it introduced Asuka who was supposed to be Jun's official replacement but even with all that, a good noticeable amount of people still preferred Jun over her. And well, I'm sure Harada spent some time thinking about this during the scale of Tekken 6 and the beginning of Tekken Tag 2 and that is when he decided to change the story for her.
Haha that's really nice of you to say. The thing with Caddicarus is that while I did love his content a lot back in the day (like 2014-2015), I started noticing little things that kinda turned me off from his reviews. His humor was very hit/miss for me, especially when he does that thing where he talks extremely fast and sometimes adds gibberish to it, it's just not funny at all to me personally but I guess others don't seem to mind lol So yeah, I hardly watch him these days and I find i have to be in the right mood to do so. But I do give respect for him because he really did work hard to get to where he is and that should be commended.
In the original story back before they released Tekken Tag Tournament 2, she was originally dead. THat head was hers and it was the motivation for Jin to destroy Ogre. I remember way back in the day in some fighting game journalist site (it had to be around from 1997 - 2004 or 2005, I saw this article around the Tekken 4 era so most likely 2002 or 2003). Anyway, there was a Q&A interview that the journalist wrote where he interviewed Harada and one of the questions he asked was if Jun Kazama would ever return and if Tekken Tag tournament's endings were canon to which Harada stated that Jun is dead, her fate was in the intro of Tekken 3 or something along those lines. I wish I had the knowledge to have screen capped that article but I was only an 11 or 12 year old then and the only thing I saved were pictures of my favorite characters lol. If someone has a link to that interview, I'd love it if you shared. Anyway, Jun's story didn't change till around Tekken Tag Tournament 2. My guess is that since Harada noticed how Jun still had so many fans for so long and how much people were hyped for Jun in her Tekken Tag Tournament 2 reveal, he decided to change her from "Dead" to "missing".
Um dude twitter.com/harada_tekken/status/437122309271220224?lang=en also that Head's hair is brown... Ogre could be holding the dead head of a Mayan worshiper he killed Jun's hair is black

Yeah, Tekken 3 was a pretty revolutionary 3D fighter. :)
Glad you enjoyed the video, stay tuned for more coming soon!
sure well.
Man, this is one of the best Tekken 3 reviews I've seen!
Oh thanks, you're too kind lol Looking back at this video, there are things I felt I could've done better to be honest lol

I see someone here watches & takes inspiration from Caddicarus! ;)
Kinda lol Caddicarus was the only youtuber I saw who actually gave a full in depth look at the tekken. Games and inspired me to do the same. Though I'm just not naturally funny like he is so my jokes or my attempts at comedy can be pretty bad lol
You do I fine job my friend!
Haha thanks

You should review all the Tekken's :)

At this point, I really can't say what Tekken game I think is the best until I play them all again lol
Decadent Gamer
You'll probably say 3 or 5 LOL!
PiscesPrincess327
We'll see lol
some call me johnny influence? AWESOME!
Yep, he's an influence :)
haha Good to know i'm not the only one who had problems with the Tekken force mode. I'm going to take your advice and spam through it.

Good job on your reviews, also you're pretty funny as well.
Thanks!
jUn not jAn for god's sake!
Tekken 2 definitely had way better stages than Tekken 3
I agree, they felt more personalized and intricate.
They even had more stages too
Harada has officialy stated that ogre never killed jun in tekken 3 she is just hiding
I'm aware of that but he only said that AFTER Tekken Tag 2 came out. well now I was not aware of that whatsoever maybe because they update story material alot I didn't know

Tekken 5 review plz
I honestly think that you are better then Caddicarus. His jokes dont always land that perfectly and some of his opinions can come off as forced.

also that Head's hair is brown... Ogre could be holding the dead head of a Mayan worshiper he killed
Jun's hair is black
I never was a fan of ogre kazuya/devil kazuya is way better
I loved Ogre's... Well the human version of Ogre's design, it's just his presentation that was muffed up compared to Kazuya/Devil Kazuya.
