Just curious, did the drive line break on shutdown or is that rotor warpage? Sounds like, to me, the driveshaft was singing it's hollow tune bouncing the pinion across the ring. Just curious. Know it's been a while.
are you running oil injection with a dry sump, it should word with Royal purple 10w30. mobile 1 10w30 or amsoil dominator synthetic 2 stroke all of with are low ash and burn off clean.

Back in the day in west Texas a mid 60’s grey primered vette would show up to Penwell Raceway with a destroked 280” sbc that turned 10,000 RPM. Had a 5-speed Doug Nash. The front tires wouldn’t stay down until third gear. Never forget the sound! He had to inspect the valve train after each round....lol
There is nothing like the sound of a high rpm small block. High rev engines need extremely high maintanance. If you like high rpm stick cars check out the southeast gassers association, those guys run era correct gassers it some really cool stuff.

Most racers shut the power off right after a run so they can get a true reading from the sparkplugs to see if engine is running lean or rich.
I noticed that too, after he crossed the speed trap, tach was still gurgling well above 6000rpm..I'm thinking damn !! This is outrageous !!! Wow!!
