I've always appreciated your photography and teaching abilities, Alex, but I've definitely been noticing, and enjoying, your evolution as a story-teller over the last few years. Loving this series.
Alex, that final shot of the setting sun definitely came together. Love your creative eye and how you explain your intention for a composition. Cheers to BeaUtiful light 🙌☀️
It’s always fun to wake up and find a new adventure from your travels! Your photos, music, and commentary always combine to create inspiration! Thanks for taking me along!
Thank you for sharing Alex :-) I have to be satisfied with dreaming of having your talent and grateful for having found your beautiful videos. Nature is truly one of life's most spectacular things!
Thanks for the look at Newfoundland. I will probably never go there because I don’t have the time to waste on all the bad weather. I realize that there is good weather, which may make a trip worthwhile, but the percentage is too low for me.
I get it, it must be frustrating to miss a shot (although I think the shot you did get was wonderful) but I think it's worth remembering that even though you are a photographer you are also a storyteller and a videographer. The drone shots and establishing b-roll that you get are great and oh so necessary to the narrative you are trying to tell. But I'm sur you know all this! 😊 As far as giving up is concerned I'm glad you didn't either ... some of those shots you got had me all nostalgic for a trip I took to the west coast of Scotland. Darrell Scott wrote "Well, today was once tomorrow And today's tomorrows' yesterday" in a song called "There's no use living for today" which sounds like the opposite of what you were saying but I don't think it is! 😁
My goodness, Alex. I'm not done watching yet, but image 10, I can't even. It made me gasp, and I paused the video and just looked at it for the longest time. ❤
When you put all the specs of the first photo. It looks like you may have used a CPL to clear up the glare on the sea. Did you use one? I would have. Looks awesome. Good shot Alex!

I really enjoyed this episode, and all the preceding. I particularly felt the advice at about 6 min. Thanks.

Love your usage of Drew Holcomb. Perfect for many reasons. Also, love LOTR!
Have you listened to the Sirkis audiobook?

Im sure I did! I don't typically include accessories in the descriptions as I can't always remember.
Why are you not replacing your livingroom window?
$$$
Alex, you seem to park up for the night in some pretty random parking spots on your adventures, do you ever have issues with the police or the locals?
In Newfoundland? Never. Otherplaces, very very rarely.
where is nufunland?
Still looking for it :)
