Roger wrote this song about Martin Luther King but then went away on holiday. Freddie got hold of it and changed it up so when Roger got back he said he didn't know what the song was about. Ironically or maybe not, the last two words of the song are Fried Chicken which as it turns out, Martin Luther King sited as his favorite food.
"Fried chicken" at the end was a remnant of some goofing around they did while developing the song-- Freddie started singing out words from a Chinese takeout menu as a placeholder for lyrics not yet written. His partner Jim thought it would be funny to end the official lyrics with the "fried chicken" snippet of the menu singing.
