You do not need to change the line starts as "Listen" as this line is by default commented out with "#" hash sign.

may I ask a question? If i wanna use static ip to replace my local, how can I do it? I mean I wanna share my database to my teammate. So I need to enter the phpmyadmin like "ip/phpmyadmin" not "local/phpmyadmin".( I use xampp to set up my apache and mysql)

I cannot get SQL to run. and when I try to config the page with the ability to change the port is not there. Any suggestions. Also, after I corrected the port fo Apache, I cannot get to the "localhost" page as demonstrated here. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I have all of the files for xampp and when i downloaded it i had to leave so i just closed it down, when i go into my folders theres nothing that tells me exactly where to start from but theres one file called xampp_start but it has a bunch of error codes and stuff: XAMPP now starts as a console application.
Instead of pressing Control-C in this console window, please use xampp_stop.exe
to stop XAMPP, because it lets XAMPP end any current transactions and cleanup
gracefully.

if I want to install Android studio and Android studio also uses port 80 will this get any effect in xampp or we have to Change port no of xampp

you have to first close mysql server of whatever database you are using before the xampp mysql server can work

Hi! After installing xampp when I run the xampp_start.exe file it says the below text (2018-03-17 4:06:11 6780 [Note] mysql\bin\mysqld.exe (mysqld 10.1.31-MariaDB) starting as process 3260 ...). What does it mean? Is it a bug? I thought I should not see any further text/command below the instruction text line ending with the word "gracefully".
